Why would it be desperate. The rumors are pretty true I am sure that the best paying jobs in daytime are on Y&R, B&B and GH these days.

To me as far as quality these days GH is right there with ATWT, GL, Days and so many others.

Plus sadly men & women in the age range that Pinter are in are not a hot commodity these days. So I am sure he is just glad to be working.

If a soap vet needs to make some fast cash, GH is as good as any of them. I have always really liked Mark Pinter. He's the perfect actor for the 'smarmy' character.

Definitely, and AMC lost out by killing off Roger Smythe (and by not using Mary even once since Greenlee's been back)!

I think he has been working in California for a while now. Not sure what he was doing there but I remember back in the spring, Collen said something in SOD about how the writer's strike allowed Mark to come home from California for a while.

On a personal note, Mark apparently is going to be a grandfather. His daughter Siri, whose an writer's assistant on Last Call with Carson Daly, is having a baby with Carson. Carson's rep confirmed it to People magazine yesterday.
