November 21, 200817 yr Member I hope you're right. I guess I was thinking of ABC who reairs old episodes from earlier in the year or the year before. CBS did that a few times. I remember one year where a "classic" episode of B&B was only about two years old. But Y&R has been fortunate that their "classics" are true classics, and they also try to pick ones that have some connection with current events. I wonder if they might trot out some of the original Marge episodes from 1989-90?
November 24, 200817 yr Author Member UGH, apparently, most CBS affiliates will be pre-empted with sports coverage anyway on Thursday. My CBS affiliate won't be carrying any soaps that day. And Friday's episode isn't even a classic. It's the episode where Jack delivers Summer in the elevator with Phyllis. WTF!? CBS needs to get its act together. My CBS affliate won't be airing that episode though. We're getting a repeat of Wednesday's episode on Friday. Bloom couldn't resist airing a Latham episode I see... Hopefully, CBS.Com will air the "classic" episodes that air in some parts of the country on Thursday, so we can know what they actually aired. They did it last year with the 1995 Christmas episode. November 24, 200817 yr Member GL will air a repeat at 1:30 pm ET/12:30 pm PT. A repeat? You mean Wednesday's episode? I would love to see the blackout again. Next to Roger/Holly Acapulco and Daniel St. John, that was my fave story on GL from the 90s.
November 24, 200817 yr Member according to my tivo guide the "classic" airing is from 12/19/06 an LML episodes. it's the one where Phyliss gives birth to Summer in the elevator with Jack's help Edited November 24, 200817 yr by corrsfan01

November 24, 200817 yr Member Well, the Phyllis giving birth episode is definitely not an episode I will tune into Hopefully, Thursday won't disappoint.
November 24, 200817 yr Member Bloom couldn't resist airing a Latham episode I see...Seriously, is anyone surprised here? Maybe though, this particular scene could be an indicator of future storylines. Edited November 24, 200817 yr by Heyou
November 25, 200817 yr Member Well, the Phyllis giving birth episode is definitely not an episode I will tune into Hopefully, Thursday won't disappoint. I doubt I tune in either since I have plans Friday, but I agree that the timing of this 'classic' is definitely interesting. I hope it does figure into a soon to be seen storyline on the show.

November 27, 200817 yr Member They're playing football on my CBS. Me too. In my market, the "classic" airs tomorrow. I'm eager to see it, if ONLY to contrast styles. But I think it is being shown to remind us of Jack and Phyllis...since they are clearly heading in a DIFFERENT direction (blackmail dynamic; "it's war, sweetheart") these days.
November 27, 200817 yr Member [!@#$%^&*]! They had football over here! Did anybody get to watch the actual episode? I'm curious to see which one it was. Edited November 27, 200817 yr by YRBB

November 27, 200817 yr Member Will Soapnet re-air the classic episode that aired today or will they play yesterday's episode again tonight? But yeah I'm getting football I assume....my hubby and sons are watching.
