November 8, 200817 yr Member He didn't really hang himself and then hope someone would save him in time. Oh... what did he do? He wasn't attached by anythign else than his neck... Bess. Are you friggin kidding me? This story gets even more unnecesarily ridiculous It's a good thing RoboBess found some huge ass glasses left behind by some construction worker or something so she could see properly to act out her evil "obstacle course"
November 8, 200817 yr Member I know exactly what you mean about those hospital scenes...I had no idea where TSJ was going with the scene but for some reason I loved it. It left me really intrigued. Totally agreed--it was bizarre but in its way brilliant (I can only suspect TSJ wasn't really sure where the writing was going).
November 8, 200817 yr Member RC has a point...an endpoint...that is going to make this all worthwhile. You can feel it! One thing I've noticed is that Todd always gets his just deserts under RC, so I'm wating with this storyline. I'm putting my money on a "Who shot Todd?" mystery by May or maybe February of 2009.
November 9, 200817 yr Administrator Oh... what did he do? He wasn't attached by anythign else than his neck... It wasn't tied on tight or tied in a way John could be hanging on - or else Michael Easton would be dead! If you're able to fake-hang the actor, you can fake-hang the character.
November 10, 200817 yr Member You can fake hang an actor because they have a crew watching him, things that can be hidden from the camera, special safety harneses, etc, etc, etc. In a jail when trying to fool someone really quickly, you don't *usually* have all that...

November 10, 200817 yr Member Well I know I should suspend my disbelief but I still found it bizarre and sillye ven for John. Like I said I'm so mixed on OLTL right now--I shake my head at nearly EVERYTHING the last few days, but I can't say I've not been entertained...
November 10, 200817 yr Member My head is still sort of "woah" about Thursday's episode. I thought they were making some kind of point in the scenes when Todd flashed back to the rape. Like the scene when Todd ran to Marty's room and burst in with this... angry look in his eye. All I could think is, where are they going with this? Todd confronting his demons? Instead, when Marty twirled her black underwear in that candle-filled room (Pottery Barn had a sale, huh), all I could think was I've been gunning for a return to Love in the Afternoon for years. This is what I get. I honestly didn't think OLTL would go there. I didn't even know how I would react when they did. I guess I was waiting for some HUGE pay-off that would make this all, somehow, justified. But when I saw TSJ's nekkid back bumping up-and-down over SH in soft-focus, it crossed a line. And when they were sitting in bed after and Marty asked "How do you feel?", I was ready for Todd to snarl "The same, Marty. I feel exactly the same." I still don't know where OLTL are going with this. I'm really worried that the show has passed a Point of No Return here. Edited November 10, 200817 yr by Cat
