"Y&R's" Katherine Chancellor funeral and Tricia Cast returns!

cooper-cast.jpgReliable sources have told me that the "Y&R" cast had been working overtime as part of the Katherine doppleganger storyline. Seems as part of November sweeps, many former and current cast members attend the funeral of Genoa City's most beloved citizen, Katherine Chancellor (Or is it Marge or staged?).

The scenes were told to include a true cast ensemble of 38, including a return from Tricia Cast as Nina! Also in attendance: Beau Kayzer (Brock), Marla Adams (Dina), (Liz), Beth Maitland (Tracy) and Michael Damian (Danny). Stay tuned for more details forthcoming.

Now why couldn't John Abbott get something like this? And although it's yet ANOTHER staged death, I don't care as long as it brings back the SENSATIONAL Tricia Cast!!!!!!!!!!

OMFG, LOVE Tricia Cast, she's the whole reason I started watching Y&R. I love that woman so much, and Nina is one of my most favourite characters EVER. IMO, Nina is the best young heroine Y&R's ever produced and I loved watching that character grow and mature, and she made Cricket bearable to me.

It will be nice to see Tricia Cast and Nina again. Too bad she cant stay so she can uncover Cane is a fraud and not the real Phillip. Any chance we will be seeing little Phillip??

Y&R needs to offer Tricia Cast a contract and keep her. I could watch her read the phonebook, she just has a captivating screen presence that I almost never see anymore.

Little Phillip needs to be recast and then Cricket can join Nina in trying to prove that Cane is a fraud....

I'm still ecstatic to see TRICIA CAST back on our screens. PLEASE MAB to EVERYTHING in your POWER to make her stay. I'd love a storyline of Nina moving back with her son, and Tricia Ryan (played by the wonderful Sabryn Genet) being brought back into the fold. It could be a dynamic story for Nina/Tricia/Victoria! Have her being up for release, and/or trying to rehabilitate herself back into GC. It would be even more dynamic if HT was in the role, or if AH gave it her all.

I loved the character of Nina. She had a past as a bad girl, but she also had a true vulnerability about her as well. Plus, I loved the actress and thought that a lot of the audience could connect with her every-girl appeal.

But, check out Tricia Cast in this photo. She looks about 50 years old! (she's about 40 in actuality).

This should be a who's who of Y&R history, a true tribute before the 35th anniversary is up. Nina returning is something I never thought would happen. At best, I expected a poor recast. I hope that they bring Little Phillip back as well. He was the reason Nina stayed connected to Jill and Kay. Hopefully they see the story potential with Nina, Little Phillip and Cane, plus how bloody fierce Tricia Cast is!

Sweeps is going to be insane.
