There are so many boring characters on soaps right know, but in the meantime, some really great actors & actresses are playing them.

So who do you think could be on this list, among boring characters but with great actors & actresses?

My Choices:

1. Brooke Logan Forrester Forrester Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang, B&B), she is a superb actress, but what a boring role she is playing.

2. Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers, Days), MH, is a wonderful actress, but i was just thinking could Maggie possible be more Boring?

3. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman, Y&R), a very capable actor, but his character, is really starting to become boring.

4. Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves, Days), although she is no longer on the show, Melissa Reeves has several times proven that she is a great actress, but her character was what i think, the most boring character ever on a soapopera.

This is just what i think, what do you all think?!.........

Megan McTavish's version of Annie McDermott. Pratt's version of Annie Lavery proves MCE was totally underused for the last year and a half. I dare say she's too good to be in any type of story with Cameron Mathison's Ryan. MCE and Pratt made me root for Annie -- up until now I had no use for her and didn't see her serving any purpose at all. But now, all I want is for her to stay around and cause trouble because I ENJOY IT TO PIECES! Whenever I see an Annie scene these days, I don't FF.

During the SSS storyline..the island chapter, I thought they were going to do some interesting things with Maggie. They had her fierecly protective of Alice and someone mentioned, "Have you SEEN Maggie with that dagger she carries, she is like an Amazon know!" Would have been interesting to see her go through all that and come back to Salem ready to kick ass. Would have been interesting to have her and all the rest of the "dead," not to trust Marlena, as she was the last person they saw before they were abducted.

ALL the characters should have changed (even though the island was tacked on, I thought it was an interesting concept, all the "dead," being forced by some sicko to watch their loved ones carry on without them," could have been great but with Reilly it just feel to shits.

Anyway, she could have really played the hell out of that

    • Shari Anderson was also head writer for a few months before the strike began.
    • I would agree.  Does anyone ever notice in Jan 1988/even Dec 1987, the show started to refer to characters from the past and mainly the Frame family?   It sounded like Lemay talk.  Jason Frame mentioned his sister Sharlene in early 88 but the ending credits still listed MD has head writer and I think Lemay was about to take over at that point.  The show hired Lemay back I believe to prepare for the 25th anniversary and try to recapture the audience that was lost by bringing the past back up.  Then the writers strike happened and all of a sudden the writing changed except when Sharlene Frame came back and we heard more family chatter again.  Maybe at this time they knew the strike was coming near to an end the producer forced the scab writing team to introduce Sharlene. I suspect even though Lemay was not writing at the time, the intent was he is coming back and the show consulted with him on his future storylines.
    • -- My Laugh of the Day goes to Carly calling the Metro Court a "five-star hotel." -- It's crazy, but what Drew did to Wiley makes Drew come off worse than if he actually murdered someone. -- Cynthia Wattros really needs to lay off the Botox. Because her face doesn't move, she's doing WAY too much with her eyes. -- Josh Kelly is looking so good with the new haircut. -- Rory Gibson continues to impress as nuMichael. Just another reminder that Josh Griffith doesn't know how to write for talent. -- This Lucky goodbye is sad -- in all the wrong ways. It could not be more pathetic. There's no doubt in my mind that Valentini told the writers they had 3 days to write him out and to make it ugly. No one will miss JJ.

      We all have our picks
    • Teach me to post cocky about all these rampant relations! As for the cut, it just made Leo Howard look more stunningly handsome. There are guys I think are hotter, but he's got the prettiest face hands down.
    • Yes Arianna and Sami are blood related through Sami and Theresa. They are also adoptive/honorary related because Arianna's third.parent is Sonny, which makes Arianna and Tate related through Justin and Isabella.
    • I saw more about Biden Old or the staged feud between Elon and Trump or just the usual distractions, but I will admit I don't stomach most of the news anyway.
    • Figured it was something like that. It's just feels weird that Will came back to see John but he's not gonna be at his funeral but

They are blood related. Through Sami and Theresa. I didn't notice it last week, but it looked so fresh today. Like he got cut minutes before they started filming or something lol
    • Bill convinced the Governor to pardon Luna. Steffy was too busy badmouthing Hope & Brooke for most of the Spring to concern herself with such trivial matters.
