^I believe Peter along with a few other actors took their vacation break somewhere in late July/early August, which is why he and others weren't in as many episodes this month. With both Ashley and Billy back in September, as well as other things, he should appear in more episodes next month.

That there is a crime, PB should be on MORE

Jack does nothing for me. The less Jack, the better IMO.

I'm glad Tammin was on more this month. Still not enough, but it's an improvement.

I agree. Jack is tied into so many aspects of Genoa City life and is, at least until next month when they bring Ashley and Billy back, the only remnant of the Abbott family on the canvas, and that makes PB someone who should be used IMO. Hopefully Y&RWorldTurner is right about PB taking time off being part of why he was off screen so much in August.

I know CLB has been on more, but boy is he way down in the episode counts for the year. I think he deserves to get some real airtime and they finally do something with this Lowell story. A couple days a month in between his being used as support for the Newmans drama is not cutting it.

PB has been in 103 episodes, CLB in 73 episodes this year so it's not like Jack hasn't had any story. He just happens to be in a lame story but with the Jabot takeover coming up no doubt PB will be handed yet another juicy storyline just like he was under LML.

I am pretty happy with Michael's air count. This annoying, good, moral Michael is so boring. I miss the old Michael.

I hope we see episode counts like this for the rest of the year...this is a remarkably balanced canvas. From Judith Chapman on up, we're seeing people have from 2 to 4 episodes a week. That seems good to me.

Some weeks they can have 2, some weeks 3, some weeks 4. Nobody hits us over the head. They all get their turn at front burner. The canvas is intergenerational, and mostly made up of competent performers. THIS is the template, IMO, for how all soaps should be.

Does anyone think we'll get a newly SORASed Abby when Ashley returns? I hope so. They really should since they just SORASed Noah.

I agree Michael should be more edgy, but you need to use a talented actor like CLB more than they have. He is too good for filler. You can bet if he left Y and R, he would be treated as lead at whatever soap picked him up.

I don't want to see any one character dominate the show but he should be higher than many of the lesser actors who have been getting more airtime.

I agree. That is how it should be, but I don't see it staying this way. The Newmans have been getting the bulk of airtime this year and it was obvious they filmed a bunch of scenes in one day so EB could go on vacation. I am sure when he returns we will be back to the Newman show 4 or 5 times a week.

I don't know... TPTB and the viewers love Darcy Rose Byrnes. Abby may be the exception.
