Oh, Marissa! Worst. Character. Ever. I detest Mischa Barton. And after the end, I hated everyone, including Adam Brody. Apparently, they all played divas/divos on set and pretended to be big movie stars. Yeah, in their dreams!

This was a post dedicated to you. (And partly to MarkH, who wanted to know how a soap is written).

As for GH — could be! I don't know!! This is killing me! And yes, a lot of GH writers picketed in LA and many screenwriters mentioned the encounters in their blog posts.

I detest her, too!

I'm not 100%, but it could be OLTL. The few times I've passed their studio while going to my favorite Starbucks late at night, they always had trucks moving sets from their small studio to a storage facility elsewhere. OLTL is quite active at night ;)

Hrm that makes me think the OLTL 4 days a week thing I heard was true. I know it tapes on a different schedule than AMC

(That doesn't surprise me about the OC cast--Brody came to film some awful movie here in Victoria during the run and the stories of his behaviour were quite embarassing. His character was a good example of a character that was gold in the early eps and then by the end became one of the most obnoxious things on TV)

Well it sure as hell isn't Days of our Lives with its drama, or GH with its five day schedule...lol. I don't think it's B&B because it mentions hour-long programs (unless I misunderstood, which is possible).

or

Though now it has to be B&B, no public info is known about its production schedule and Y&R recently went through many behind-the-scenes changes, so it can't be them. It's not ATWT/B&B because of what TeleNext has done to them and AMC....? eh

I'm pretty sure it's a West Coast show. JP, if you say GH is five-in-five, I believe you. I know B&B isn't five-in-four because they're only a half hour show... plus, she implies it's an hour show when talking about "other primetime dramas".

Errol, all soaps put the next day's sets up overnight. It's just standard practice.

That leaves GH, Y&R and Days, and something tells me a prime-time writer would be more willing to go visit the Y&R or GH sets than the Days set. :D But that's just me being snobby, I could totally eat those words.
