Devon finally gets a bit of a storyline and this is unfair in my opinion..

Unfortunately, Devon got a crappy story. He should have a romance like any other young soap character. He could have a romance with Colleen or Amber or even grow reluctantly close to Chloe complicating his relationship with Lily. I can't figure what LML or MAB have against Devon. I wonder if it is that old taboo against a black man having a romance with a white woman coming into play. If that is the case, just establish his rarely seen girlfriend onto the show's canvas.

Well, hats off to B&B on this one. While Marcus and Steffy have not had sex (and have made a choice not to have sex), their scenes on the chaise lounge were about as close to orgasmic as daytime gets.

I wish Devon would fall for Chloe. I like their hate chemistry. Overall, Devon is a boring character, so unless they intend to pair him up with someone very interesting soon, he can leave with his aunt and little sister.

SOW

Look for Eva Marcille (Tyra) and Jamia Simone Nash (Ana) to depart from Y&R on August 27, when Tyra takes Ana to school in New Hampshire. The pair won't be off the canvas permanently. Sources say both actresses are set to make a Genoa City return.

Did anyone actually read the blub? It says they will be back. I do believe one of Nelson's columns even said they were only out short term and will be back.

I've actually liked Tyra with Neil better then Karen, it just seems like they don't know what they want to do with the character of Karen and she's been written a few different ways already and they don't seem to have worked.......

SOC Update

Former Top Model winner Eva Marcille will exit Genoa City this week.

Eva Marcille (Tyra Hamilton) will exit The Young and the Restless this week, but the model-turned-actress will be back.

According to a show insider, Marcille's role on The Young and the Restless was not initially envisioned as a long-term role. Now that Marcille has caught on with fans, the show is reshuffling some storylines to devise a way to keep the actress in Genoa City.
