It's crazy right? We know that all soaps are losing viewers but with ABC it's clearly more than than just the YouTube/download/women in the workplace attrition. ABC is actively driving viewers away. They're practically leaving skid marks. I really wonder what job objectives Frons is meeting because clearly he's failing here.

Yup, I still see AMC as a complete mess. Considering how so many are dogging Days right now it actually beat OLTL(the master RC) all week except for Friday. And hopeless ATWT also beat OLTL the whole week in Total Viewers. And only were beaten on Wednesday in HHs numbers. Yes, RC is the next savior in daytime. ;)

It's just too much of the same thing with AMC. Kendall/Greenlee(The Real Greenlee..who was suppose to bring in the big numbers), Ryan(ugh!), Zack, Aiden......too much overkill of these 5 characters. Add Annie to the mix and you have a nose dive in ratings. Sorry Zendall Fan but there is way too much of Kendall on.....The show needs to focus on its other vets. The constant 6 arent bringing in the numbers.

That's your opinion Toups. Remember in high school the difference between fact and opinion? :P;) Let's just say RC is the best right now in daytime. [!@#$%^&*] Passant and Dena Higley are still beating him in the ratings.

I cant wait!! :D

Man Y& R is really turning it around. The show has been enjoyable for me lately. Eric Braden (probably spelled wrong) is doing such a fine job.

As far as OLTL, it's not unusual for viewers to tune out during summer reruns and from what I read on these boards, OLTL is currently in reruns.

I keep being stunned by AMC's ratings until I remember that I'm not really watching AMC. I just watch the Angie/Jesse channel on YouTube so for me AMC is the best show on the air. I haven't had to look at Kendall's bony butt once.

And as for OLTL, people can keep singing all the hosannahs about Carlivati they want to (although I've noticed the choir getting smaller), it sounds like a hot mess.

Yeah, and RC was beating them last week. Next week he might beat them, then the week after, they might beat him again. What's your point with the ratings?

I'm talking about as a writer and I believe RC is definitely a better HW than Jean and Dena.

    • Can we talk about how iconic the 1994 tornado was on AMC? I was scanning through old episodes last night and came across this episode. The tornado was epic and the storylines/aftermath were so good (Julia's scar/Noah!; Jenny/Ray/Nola/Jesse in heaven with Tad, etc).  For 1994, these special effects and budget for this big event were amazing. 10 out of 10!  The only thing missing is Erica!  I can't recall where Erica was at the time, but I really wish she had been involved in this storyline.

    • On the way to her own engagement party? I've read that the show had trouble getting the audience to sympathize with Rita, but...that seems bizarre. Maybe I can understand the issue with the censors, given that at the time, rape wasn't depicted the way it is now, and marital rape was even less acknowledged.  Wasn't Chris Brooks' rape one of the first honest stories on the subject? I just don't think I could get into a show I didn't have a working knowledge of. I know it's a different era, but I really tried to get into GH once Maura West joined, but it just never jelled.
    • Yes it was! My mom and I convinced my dad to get one. He was--how shall I put this?--on the thrifty side, but one day he came home with one as a surprise. To this day, I'm convinced it fell off a truck. (He knew people with "connections."

) BUT, we had our VCR and we could watch our soaps. That thing lasted forever! It was built like a tank. Even when we got new ones with more features, we kept that one.

Blasphemy!  (Haha, I get it.  But, you should try watching AMC! 80s-90s was so good.)
    • I thought about saying how I resented the fact that those two newbies were tripping up the Puppetmaster of all Puppetmasters, when the best others could do was a stalemate (or less...). But, well...*sigh*
    • I read years ago that both Zaslow and Lenore both complained that it came off as a seduction because of CBS censors, so Lenore asked if she could say, "you raped me" to leave no doubt with the audience, and that Zaslow insisted that Holly's rape played realistically
    • Wow it’s official, Gatwa is out… https://www.avclub.com/ncuti-gatwa-addresses-doctor-who-finale-statement DW fandom on Reddit is in a furor over how things went down and apparent last minute scrapping of the original ending. Also…Billie Piper again really?
    • He comes pretty close, talkin' about how Reva is full of love and joy, blah blah....which is bilge considering he was the one responsible for throwing her out of Josh's life over working with Alan.
    • Just watched the episode concerning Olivia's drug use and Abby's persistence, etc. Donna Mills did stellar work in this episode, as did Tonya Crowe and Brian Austin Green (Brian).
    • But by Dinah and Hart...Hart especially looked as if he could not tie his own shoes!  Ed, Holly, Alan, Alex Henry and Vanessa among others were not able to put Roger down....Dinah???
