But it has been proven before that upset's can happen, I remember one from years ago where a swimmer by the name of Michael Gross nick named The Albertros (because of his hand to hand span) was red hot favorite to win his event which was either the 100 or 200 butterfly and lost the final to and Aussie that wasn't even considered a medal chance.
