it's weird - I like Cane and Lily...and i like Cane,,,but i still don't like Lily! Boggles my mind.

All in all - Y&R is the only soap that i will watch live and sit through commercials for. David's descent into the dark is truly fascinating to watch. Victor on the warpath is just so satisfying. He's so awesome when he's giving everyone hell. Some don't like it but i do. I really hope they make Nick go totally broke and he has to get a job based on his merit not his last name or trust fund.

I have come to the conclusion that Sabrina could have been a wonderful long-term character but the actress just wasn't up to snuff. When she shares scenes with MTS or AH they run full circles around her and seem to have to wait for her to catch up. she just can't convey the depth the character needs to survive with all these other talented actors around her. I have defended her alot because i think the character Sabrina works quite well with Victor, but she really doesn't have the "stuff" to fight like a Mrs. Victor Newman would/should. Having said that, her departure will set up everything so well.

Chloe is heaven and her team=up with Amber makes sense. Though the scenes where Chloe tried to get Daniel and Amber together today were juvenile, I'm curious what these two vipers have up their sleeves. I'm also anxious to see how Phyllis and Chloe will get along too.

Jack and Sharon are such a marvel. i never would have thought they'd click together for so long and be interesting but seeing her support him, dark side and all, is very tender and intriguing.

Still not liking where they're going with the Neil/Devon/Tyra/Karen s/l though. It's just so boring. We've seen all this before. And the girl Ana is cute as a button, but to have her sing every time she's on will surely wear out her welcome. Eva Pigford is good as Tyra though and I'm glad they're trying her out with other guys on the show before the eventual Neil/Tyra hook-up. I'd love to see her shakeup JT and Victoria.

Y&R is the new must-see TV! :)

There was another promo for Y&R's gala during B&B today. It was different - not as "artsy" and a lot more blunt. There's another sub-title for it, like "Out of the Ashes". It's Y&R: Sudden Impact.

Make of that what you will.

(MODS: I don't think this warranted a spoiler tag, but if it does, I'm happy to edit it.)

A person would think... if the soap is #1, and has the biggest budget or something, at least they could update the opening... all other shows find the time to change from time to time, but #1 doesn't? Something's wrong here. Maybe they're spending all of their money on those "celebrities" they invite for Restless Style or something.

    • 6-3   I almost let my system just delete the episode just like with B&B. I am now questioning if I should have. lol.   I just can't believe that Cole sat there and started to get sick and then only Victoria off and ran off and everyone basically went back to what they were doing at Nikki's birthday party. Cole was too much of a vet character for that. And now story back off-screen.   I did chuckle at how much Victor pay Kyle dust. And now Kyle with this deal and a promise to leave town if he hurts Claire. smh. As if Victor isn't going to make that happen.   It was lovely to see Ashley. And actually (misdressed and all) Abby.    And I liked Claire's dress.
    • Oh. That. I pretend that never happened.

I did think of another possibility. Did India ever sleep with Alan? They kind of toyed with pairing them up, but I'm not sure they ever became lovers.
    • While I do love the chaotic energy that is Kat vs Lesile, it is a bit extra. Sheltered, virginal Kat who plays it safe from her man to her wardrobe understands that Leslie is dangerous, but she's out here showing up everywhere and anywhere that Lesile is to be found and actively going to places where she is alone? I mean Kat doesn't even act a little afraid or intimidated by Leslie. Meanwhile, big Ole Derek out here begging for his and Ashley's life to Jacob.  As for Dani, I didn't see it that way. Dani and Bill were together for 30 years and shared a family. I believe there was real love there at one point. Bill is still an ass and Dani is still crazy, but realizing she may lose him and her daughter's may lose their dad definitely struck a chord.
    • Funny I randomly saw Kami’s lengthy post about the 44th anniversary of the Walton’s finale last week pop up in my news feed on Facebook. A few inaccuracies to her post but overall it was pretty insightful and interesting to read.
    • Well, depending on rewrites...Jennifer Richards potentially slept with Brandon and Alan. It does feel like we're forgetting someone, but then again, maybe I'm confusing that with brothers, which would include a lot more.
    • Maybe it’s me, and the fact that RC isn’t at the helm, but since Cwikly and Ford have taken over I’ve noticed the show doing a lot of things differently directing wise, and since the storyline of John’s demise began, the show has been using different scores, and dare I say better ones than this time last year. It’s interesting and I wonder if the any of it is Noel Maxam’s influence before being promoted.
    • I think Nicole is about to figure out what's going on between Andre and Dani.
    • @Efulton thank you. I don't know how I missed it or didn't recall it.  I'll blame amnesia . Anyway @Errol Could the newer thread be merged to the existing? Thanks in advance.
    • I just finished watching and I have to admit, not once did I find myself wondering who wasn't there. Quick question for anyone who followed this better than I did: was it only Andrew who rescued Cat and John from Clyde, or was Shane involved too? The reactions during their scenes today felt a little off to me. I know it was meant to be vague, but I didn't find it strange that they already knew each other.
    • Yeah, financially, Luna is in better shape than Deacon and Sheila.   -- Scott Clifton must have decided to chew the scenery in every scene of this "Liam is Dying" storyline. Yikes.
