Sabrina was growing on me. I think if they would have given her more of an edge, she would have been more interesting. Really I think there's tons of story potential left for the character, but whatever...

I'm upset because last year, under LML, Victor was written as a classic spouse abuser... When Nikki did not bow to his wishes, his abuse escalated... from simple games and losses of temper, to eventually vowing to DESTROY her, leaving her 'where he found her" in the gutter. He threw furniture, tore a phone out of her hand and threw it.. the way it was written was very true to life as someone who is a spousal abuser.

I do expect "excess" on a soap.. and I'd be fine with them back together if Victor got a lesson taught him... was brought down perhaps by his own arrogance, and realized he treated Nikki wrongly... but that has not happened. Instead it appears Victor will be a HERO, and Nikki is the idiot. That sends home even more the message that it's the abusee's fault they were abused.

It was too close to real life... for me to want them back together (and I was a big V/N fan... I screamed NOOOOO when the spoilers came she'd be paired with David, even though I like VI... I LOVED Victor/Nikki). But now? It's downright offensive to have the story play out this way... with the abusive one unpunished, and the wife abused crawling back to "her hero". It's offensive to me beyond words.

THAT is why I cannot stand the idea of a reunion (right now, under these conditions). There is nothing 'super' about such a couple.

You might argue (understandably) that Victor ought not have been written that way... but the fact is he WAS, and the show needs to deal with it.

You know they'll end up together eventually. They always do.

Exactly...contracts can become null and void at the drop of a dime...and that dime dropped on her like nobody's business.

I think the pregnancy did her in as well. Although they could have just written it that she's having Phillip's baby and Victor's brain fart/seizures caused him to forget his snippity snip. I've only liked Sabrina when she's on the war path, but won't miss seeing her sucking face with Victor.

Now if only they would bring back Bobby to pair with Nikki. They had chemistry.
