The actor playing Max Ramsay is beautiful. Looking forward to seeing the character!  Will also be great to have Ramsays back in Ramsay Street.

I hope not, but at least we have time to mentally prepare I suppose. At times I've wondered how many at the show were shocked to get a reprieve as it often feels to me like the writing isn't what it should be for this second chance.

Fingers crossed all is good. But I'd imagine now is about time discussions will be taking place about whether it will be renewed, I suspect the decision will be made by Christmas at the latest? I hope we get news by then.

I genuinely do not believe Amazon MGM Studios will cut the cord on Neighbours. It tends to rank in the top ten on Amazon, and even received Daytime Emmy Award nominations. That alone is worth its continuation; I am sure the initial two-year deal was to give it a chance, but I don't see them ditching the serial.

And I'm seeing that shortening the episodes from 4/week to 3/week until December to ensure episodes broadcast through the end of 2024, etc. Seems like a pre-calculated move that production was aware of.

I hope so @Liberty City, I don't want to go through the grieving I went through in 2022 again!

I genuinely do not think we will be; I feel like if Amazon MGM were ending their link, we would've known by now, because April 2025 marks two-years since production began on the revival/continuation.

Plus, based on what I've seen, it looks like production values have [finally] begun to improve.

Interesting, for me it’s the opposite. I’ve enjoyed this new version of Neighbours better than anything that was put out from 2011-2022 (obviously with a few exceptions).

It hasn’t been perfect, I hate the 4pm timeslot and i’m still not used to 4 days a week, but otherwise I think the writing’s been mostly solid (aside from anything involving Wendy).
