I imagine there's more - I haven't seen his account in a long time. I remember he and John Bowe saying a lot on the topics back when they were on the show.

I agree Diane should make a brief appearance at the very least, if the show has any interest in John being anything but another of Aaron's corpses.

Yikes, Kelvin. Yeah, Andy can stay gone or simply recast.

I am just tired of men being victims of Aaron at this point. I really wish Danny Miller would've found success out of this show b/c Aaron needs to be put on permanent ice.

I agree.

I suppose I can say it's equality on display as a number of straight male legacy characters have also been trashed in the last few years, but the Sugdens deserve better treatment. They are what built the show.

Yes! One down!   :D

Emmerdale confirms Samson Dingle's exit as his sentence is revealed

Too bad there are still so many left....  <_<   But, it's a start.

I can't believe this site actually used this headline

Emmerdale legend jailed for four years in exit story – as another resident is arrested

Legend??!!  LEGEND??!!

You didn't know? The Dingles are legends!

I actually did think Samson had more potential as a character than many other Dingles, at least as he got older, but the show doesn't have any real interest unless you are more closely tied to Cain, Chas and Charity.

I get the Dingle hate but they are s popular as the MCQueens from Hollyoaks. They are really beloved if you guys like it or not. That young boy was a talented one and was there for 1-2 decades and he may not be a legend but whoever is growing up on a show without being recast is a legend lol

And Cain is the most beloved guy from this show and people love him lol

i mean what do u guys call a legend these days from this show? Paddy? Lisa? Bob?
This show has not many legends tbf

Touché lol

:raspberry:

Look, some people, for reasons I can't understand, love the Dingles, and that's their prerogative. I can't tell them they're wrong (even though they obviously are :P) because it's their opinion and we all have a right to our opinions. (Even when that opinion is clearly wrong, as is the case here  ^_^)

You know, I was actually happy that they were adding a new Sugden to the show, wary but happy. But I should have known that this show would continue to disappoint me... Strange how you never learn, isn't it.   <_<

They might as well have made John's mother another Dingle, because he fits right into that mold. They could still have him hook up with Aaron, which obviously was their plan from the start. I mean, inbreeding is nothing new to the Dingle clan anyway. They thrive on it.

There's just nothing in it for me anymore. It breaks my heart a little, but I have to let this show go. I might keep up a little through recaps and spoilers, but I'm not going to invest any more into it.

Farewell Emmerdale (Farm). It was a good run, but, just like in one of your own storylines right now, one can only take a certain amount of crap before it's enough. And I have now reached my limit.

Annie, Amos, Joe, Jack, Grandad, Henry, Matt, Dolly, Jackie, Kathy, Seth and the others will always be with me in memory, and I thank all the deities that they're all gone so their memories will be unspoiled.

Have I died and gone to heaven??!!  There's a Youtube channel uploading Emmerdale Farm episodes from the beginning! Right now they're up to Episode 240 from March 1975!

I'm not sure I dare to give a link (channels like this has been taken down before) but if you search for Classic Emmerdale Farm you'll find it.

Imagine if this channel could upload the entire 1970s....

They've already uploaded 240 episodes, so there's only around 300 left. (Episode 542 was the last Emmerdale Farm episode of the 1970s, airing the 5th of July 1979).
