Surprisingly, this is Sharon's only Julia's Theme moment (to the Jazzy version of Julia's Theme).

It's from the 1993 episodes where Sharon, Grant, Pat, Frank, Kathy and Phil go to France.

Yeah, and it looks like Pat's Revealed episode will be just 30 mins, but unlike other Revealed episodes, it won't go off on unrelated tangents, it will focus exclusively on Pat.

That Pat/Janine scene in that trailer makes me a bit emotional. sad.png

I'm glad they appear to patch things up before Pat's death. Good to see David back, but Pat asking for him over Simon? She always seemed closer to Simon, at least in recent years.

I'm much more affected by Pat dying than any other departure ever! Glad EastEnders didn't kill off Peggy -- they have killed off Kathy, Pete, Pat, Arthur, Mark, Pauline (before Wendy Richard died) -- all core characters who could have come back later.

Glad David Wicks is returning. I wish it was for good -- he was compelling, and he actually has a lot of connection to the characters on the show still.

I wish I could still watch EastEnders!

Keeping up on synopses, there are some moments that seem brilliant (love how they brought up Frank and Phil torching the car lot) and others that seem dumb with the show right now (Ricky and Mandy?; Ben turning out to be Phil's stalker; Lola being pregnant), but that's EastEnders for you.

I think in the main, it has been terrible. It' all just so predictable. If they'd done something like kill off Tamwar, then it would have been gripping. But you just knew that Yusef would be the one to die so it rendered everything else pointless, really.

I'm looking forward to Pat's exit although it does surprise me how people say how much of a legend she is etc etc when she's only really been a supporting character for the best part of ten years.

Everything comes across as very gimmicky at the moment. Hopefully things will improve in the new year but I won't get my hopes up!

    • I don't believe she did. She did sleep with Simon, believing he was a Spaulding.
    • -- If I ever get sick, please don't send me to Garland Memorial. That hospital is a YIKES. -- Soooo much activity around the main nurses' desk. Do they move dead people on a gurney past that desk, too? -- 8 months for Bill to recover from a "small stroke"? Uh....I don't think so. Is anyone researching this stuff? The hospital stuff is not coming off as realistic. -- It's good that Derek and Ashley are being integrated into other stories, but it's a real stretch to say Leslie was "stalking" Ashley. It makes Derek seem dumber than we already think he is. -- Ashley spends a lot of time having small talk while she's at work. -- Chelsea is embarrassing. Period. -- Tomas is supposed to pick up the slack for Bill, but he has time to have worthless conversations with Leslie? OK then. -- Kat is destroying the case against Leslie, but that's clearly the way to keep Leslie on the canvas.
    • 6-3   I almost let my system just delete the episode just like with B&B. I am now questioning if I should have. lol.   I just can't believe that Cole sat there and started to get sick and then only Victoria off and ran off and everyone basically went back to what they were doing at Nikki's birthday party. Cole was too much of a vet character for that. And now story back off-screen.   I did chuckle at how much Victor pay Kyle dust. And now Kyle with this deal and a promise to leave town if he hurts Claire. smh. As if Victor isn't going to make that happen.   It was lovely to see Ashley. And actually (misdressed and all) Abby.    And I liked Claire's dress.
    • Oh. That. I pretend that never happened.

I did think of another possibility. Did India ever sleep with Alan? They kind of toyed with pairing them up, but I'm not sure they ever became lovers.
    • While I do love the chaotic energy that is Kat vs Lesile, it is a bit extra. Sheltered, virginal Kat who plays it safe from her man to her wardrobe understands that Leslie is dangerous, but she's out here showing up everywhere and anywhere that Lesile is to be found and actively going to places where she is alone? I mean Kat doesn't even act a little afraid or intimidated by Leslie. Meanwhile, big Ole Derek out here begging for his and Ashley's life to Jacob.  As for Dani, I didn't see it that way. Dani and Bill were together for 30 years and shared a family. I believe there was real love there at one point. Bill is still an ass and Dani is still crazy, but realizing she may lose him and her daughter's may lose their dad definitely struck a chord.
    • Funny I randomly saw Kami’s lengthy post about the 44th anniversary of the Walton’s finale last week pop up in my news feed on Facebook. A few inaccuracies to her post but overall it was pretty insightful and interesting to read.
    • Well, depending on rewrites...Jennifer Richards potentially slept with Brandon and Alan. It does feel like we're forgetting someone, but then again, maybe I'm confusing that with brothers, which would include a lot more.
    • Maybe it’s me, and the fact that RC isn’t at the helm, but since Cwikly and Ford have taken over I’ve noticed the show doing a lot of things differently directing wise, and since the storyline of John’s demise began, the show has been using different scores, and dare I say better ones than this time last year. It’s interesting and I wonder if the any of it is Noel Maxam’s influence before being promoted.
    • I think Nicole is about to figure out what's going on between Andre and Dani.
    • @Efulton thank you. I don't know how I missed it or didn't recall it.  I'll blame amnesia . Anyway @Errol Could the newer thread be merged to the existing? Thanks in advance.
