Reading some stuff on DS about Hollyoaks Later. Some are saying that Jaq Croft, who played Carrie Owen, will be an extra. I guess that's my punishment for knocking points off her in the HO game over and over. I could never stand her, the actress just seemed bad and the character was insufferable, only there to disapprove and wring her hands. I guess she's not coming back as the character though.

It also looks like they might be

going back to some of the type of stories in Indecent Behaviour, their 2001 late night special. They go to a footballer's mansion and Nancy ends up being raped by several footballers.

I don't know if this is in Later but I also read that

in an attempt to win Malachy back, Mercedes lies to him that she has HIV. Ugh. I hate what they've done to her.

Supposedly this story would have originally gone to Michaela.

This is a combination of stories in Indecent Behavior -- Beth Morgan was raped by a footballer. Another woman, Geri, to try to show her footballer boyfriend she was in control, had sex with him and with one of his friends. Then another man came in after they left her alone and that man tried to rape her, but she got away.

I don't know how to feel about this. On one hand, Jessica Fox finally gets something to freaking do. On the other, part of me just doesn't buy it for some reason.

Aw, I wouldn't be against Macca becoming a main character. The actor had an innocence to him that I liked. However, he looks so much like my friend's bf, it is kind of weird.

And who was that singer that performed after the play? He was fine.

the story interests me that Phil had a secret family. Its a story that isn`t really touched enough.

I wonder how this will work out. If he's just back for a brief stay then it's not worth the effort. I'm not too sorry that his awful 2009 exit did not stick, and he was a more believable "hard man" than Brendan will ever be, but I hope that this might be more like the Warren of 2006 and 2007, as Warren got so downtrodden later on, and Jamie Lomas also seemed a bit out of shape (remember the good old days when he and Mercedes slept around and he was in those well-packed briefs). I also hope this might increase the chances of Clare returning.

No it doesn't, but then a lot of the show hasn't, I just hope this somehow works.

I don't there's anything left for him on this show, same with Clare sadly...

I have little faith in the show to figure out what to do with him but I think if they go back to what he was early on he might work. He had a lot of charisma and sexual energy in that first year, before they put him with Louise, before the siblings showed up, and the life was drained out of him and they started wanting us to pity him. I wonder if they are doing with him what they did with Scott Anderson years ago -- I've never seen any of that but read about it.

Given the chemistry he had with Justin, if Marquess is that desperate for stories I would bring Justin back too and have some sort of psycho and sexual quad between Justin/Brendan/Ste/Warren.

Clare works as a character if they get the camp right, which Lucy Allan did a terrible job with.

IF its realistic....sorry makes sense then i`ll buy it. But never the less , this is great news for Hollyoaks to bring back one of its best villians.

I hope it pays off for them in the ratings because I can't help thinking that they are doing this because if ratings don't go up the axe may fall. I don't want to see any soaps go, especially since the UK doesn't seem to be making new soaps.

No i totally agree its a ratings stunt. There is so much PM can do with the character. There are still characters on the show that hold a grudge on Warren including The McQueens. Maybe he can be Sinead`s secret older boyfriend. If Sasha was still on the show , Warren could use her to get The Loft back.

If he kills Cheryl, I don't care how stupid his return is.
