Why is everyone guessing increases for OLTL? I know a lot of people on this board have a hard-on for that show, but was it truly good last week?

The hard on part was funny LoyaltoAMC. The show has good things going for it but still not all that. IMO of course.

Is OLTL that good?

You bet your arse it is! It is the best soap opera on the air right now. It has every facet of what a soap should be. Whether or not the ratings will reflect it or not is to be seen.

The ratings havent reflected it for OLTL. Which tells me the majority of the Nielsen families arent finding OLTL all that good.

I don't get it either.

I said, "the best soap on tv." In today's soapy world, that says alot. It is by no means the best soap ever. When we're given bread crumbs for soaps, we get what we can. LOL

Then if all the other shows are bread crumbs. OLTL is only the crust around the bread. Because quality wise it isnt the whole bread.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's because Friday's shows were considered specials and did not count because of the July 4th holiday. So the totals should only be for 4 days.
