I'm so sick and tired of seeing people eat! Why does Dena always write people having dinner? Bo/Hope, Chelsea/Daniel, Anna/Tony, Nicole/Trent, Roman/Kate/Bo/Hope, etc, etc.

Nothing happened in today's ep. So boring. *sigh*

Well to each there own and I hope people who enjoy DOOL and want to post here are not easily intimidated: I thought today's show was pretty good. I'm glad I stopped watching OLTL because it so deadly dull. I always think it's best to stop watching a show you are not going to like no matter what is shown.

I really do think Nu John is more interesting than Old John. Roscoe Born is a natural soap character :lol: My only regret right now is that TB is leaving. I wish her well and I think she must have something good on the string. I look forward to seeing her come back. Nicole and Ava have great chemistyr.

If they can't handle negative posts, they shouldn't be posting on a message board.

This autism storyline is already off to a bad start.

1. We didn't see Abe/Lexie react to the news of being told Theo was autistic

2. We didn't see these tests that were done on Theo.

If we barely see Theo, how are we suppose to connect to him? And why do things happen off screen all the time?

And I still can't believe Kayla/Steve are living in EJ's apartment! WTF!

ITA!!! What is Higley's problem? Why doesn't she believe in developing a story? Its like she just gets so excited with her lil story ideas and puts them into the dialogue the same day the idea hits her! I'm really glad that JR and RJ are getting a story but geez!! They derserve good writing! I think this story is going to really make or break Higley. If she messes up the writing for this autism storyline (something that is so close to home) then I will definitely crown her the worst HW that has ever existed, or will ever exist on DAYS! (yes even worse than Tom Langan who current holds that spot!)

They should of just put Kate and Daniel together from the start. Him and Chelsea are just too ... rushed for me. It sucks.

Oh and I definitely see Higley trying her damndest to slowly put EJ and Nicole together.

LOL!! It's been a busy week for me, but I've watched and here's my shot...

Days on a scale from 1-10 right now is a 4, and thats only because the acting.

For The Week of June 23-27

I don't like John and Ava. I'm tired of Stephanie and Max, but I love Trent, and I loved his scenes with both Max and Nicole. It really is a high point right now on this show. I loved getting to see Abe and Lexie get a storyline, but for what? A few sparse lines about autism that sounded like a PSA, with no real depth to the story. We've hardly seen Theo yet, but the story is about HIS battle, as well as the family's struggle. Dena's writing this from a parents point of view, but pardon my bluntness, the kid's suffering through the disorder here. I think there needs to be a balanced approach, and I agree with Toups, a focus on the diagnosis and treatment, not just selfish dialouge from complaining parents. BUT, this is better than we've seen Abe and Lexie get in a long time, so I'm glad to see this couple get screentime when Lexie's not cheating or stealing a baby.

Of all the couples on this week, I can only really enjoy Bo and Hope. Jawn is killing J&M for me, and they are one of my faves. I could careless if they are together when he is Jawn, and I'm tired of seeing Marlena reduced to begging for love. It's killing her character all over again. So much damage seemed to be repaired, and now we are back to weak, whimpy Marlena. I could care less whom the rest of the cast chooses to screw, since the show is about to turn into a slut-fest for it's annual "umbrella story". Sex between the wrong people isn't romance, it's soft porn. Nothing wrong with that just don't call it a summer of romance when it's a bunch of misguided idiots acting like Dogs in heat.

So it's been worse. Dena's doing better than last time, and I like this better than Langan. I've given credit for what I see as good, and what I see as bad. There's more bad than good, but it's not all bad, even if it's just almost watchable. I make no sense now, but maybe you know what I mean. The show sucks, but it's not a total loss. If I were an insurance adjuster doing a claim, I'd mark it a 70% loss.
