Aww man:

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later. Additionally, a 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I think it was capacity. Sorry to the webmaster for flooding your site with new guests and crashing your site. :(

The last person is Ellen, who, from that angle, looks more like a cousin than the twin she does in the OLTL opening.

Elaine Princi was Dorian during the character's involvement with Jason Webb, a long-haired illiterate type. She was sexy and spunky and a very capable actress, but they never really did too much with Dorian during her tenure. She was definitely SUPPORTING in the worst sense of the word. I think they had good intentions, but possibly they were always hoping to get La Strasser back. At any rate, I enjoyed Elaine; she was the first Dorian I knew (I started watching in 1988, shortly after Strasser left). When Robin returned to the role with red hair, some commented that she looked less like 1980s Dorian than Elaine had  Even after Strasser's much-ballyhooed return, Dorian STILL remained supporting for a few months, but then stepped into lead territory when the character convinced Emily Haines to accuse Viki's Sloan Carpenter of sexual harrassment, and from then on out, Robin was back full-throttle. Malone's Joey-Dorian remains one of my favorite soap couples ever.

I wish there were people on this board who watched back in the 1970s and could give a little feedback on Claire Malis.

ETA: Elaine Princi's other big storyline as Dorian was during the arrival of Blair (first played by Asian actress Mia Korff) back in 1991. Blair came to town seeking revenge on her aunt, because she was convinced that Dorian had tortured Addie as a child. We soon learned, however, that Addie was the one who abused Dorian, and Blair and Dorian eventually became close. Again, Elaine was terrific with this material, but it wasn't exactly a LEAD story ... more so for Blair, to introduce her to the canvass.

    • I wonder if less set use was preparing for the move. They probably were preparing for this for awhile now
    • The early part of the season is decent. After that, Season 9 is probably one of the worst seasons until season 13. Season 10 is a little worse.    That would have made sense, even if it cost us one of my favorite scenes (Ben putting Lilliemae in a headlock). That's an excellent storyline and leads to the show's last strong season finale.
    • The TVC Studio 31 that they used for 38 years was only about 13,730 sq ft., according to the TVC website specs: https://televisioncityla.com/stages-offices/ Sunset Las Palmas Studios has 11 sound stages, which go up to 20,000 sq ft., though we're yet to learn which of those sound stages will house B&B. Depending on which one, the specs for it can be found here: https://www.sunsetstudios.com/los-angeles/las-palmas-studios/ Sound Stages 4, 5 and 9 are available for use starting September 1, 2025. It's unclear if either of those stages would be used by B&B since they begin production there starting Tuesday, August 19, 2025, which would be before the date shown on the website, but we shall see. Of those three sound stages, only Sound Stage 4 and 5 make sense since they are larger than the specs the show had at TVC, while 9 is quite smaller.  Sound Stage 4 would be the best option overall for B&B since it has 18,819 sq ft., the largest individual sound stage at the lot - Stage 3 and Stage 8 share space, which combined makes the space 19,900 sq ft. --- Forgot to add, unless there was an issue with storing the sets, the changes at TVC should have had no issue with production on the show, resulting in fewer set use as there has been no movement in terms of construction that would impact either show (B&B/Y&R). Of the 2-3 times I've been at the studio, the most recent for Don Diamont's 40 years at CBS, it was the most dead I had ever seen the space, but that could be due to vacations, holidays, or the preparation of the B&B move.
    • I didn't post about it in the BtG thread as I still don't watch the show (an hour runtime is just too much for me right now with a new soap I can't just mostly skip through) but I can't imagine the ego of someone who is hired as a breakdown writer and decides to [!@#$%^&*] their own name all over the show. Classless beyond belief. Any writer who cares more about masturbatory behavior than quality of work should not be hired.
    • Yeah, it would've made things more tightly woven.
    • I like Chelsea and Madison. Two very pretty black women as a potential couple. But I really wish this show would've showcased two very handsome black men as a couple instead.
    • I didn't even think of roasters from GH

Maybe this roast will take even more than two years
    • Irna wasn't involved with ATWT at the time of Neil's death, was she? I'm imagining a situation where right after his latest doctor's appointment, he's killed.
    • The Cruise of Deception was the first thing that came to mind when I mentioned that Brady might take after that side of the family
    • We all knew that TT is busy so if she's off screen for a bit except for phone calls and/or visits.. then it is what is. Ashley was nicely used as support... which the writers should have been doing since day 1 so that viewers could understand why exactly she's on the show LOL Chelsea/Madison.... seems too good to be true... we shall see. Shanice as a PT... if it means more airtime.. I'm good.
