I didn't read the interview, but someone here posted snippets of it. Evidently, Carruthers took him into the writers room to personally meet Babs & Jimbo. Agreed that something has changed behind the scenes. Whether Agnes is tweaking things, which is very, very likely, or Walsh is more involved, something has changed for the better. The show, barring the Ryan crapfest, has been pretty watchable of late, and this is not Babs & Jimbo's doing.

Something is definitely up with Walsh. What is she doing? She wrote the first post-strike script and not one since. There are no more breakdowns. So either

1. She is the one sitting at home getting paid for nothing and they are waiting for her contract to expire so they can get rid of her like Stephen Demorest since they don't need expensive breakdown writers anymore.

or

2. She has stepped up.

Interesting. I wonder if they have the writers working in the offices again. All of the "associate" HWs (Walsh, Beall, Beldner) are NYC based.

I was just stunned B&E were in their office at all. Didn't they admit (when at GL) that they do all their writing at the bar on napkins?

I love this man, he is the one writer out there that gets it. He better put the Allison Perkins mystery back in..I was dying to find out what it was!!

Sometime they have what could be a good idea but it just doesn't turnout on the screen ,come on the Jesse&Angie stuff should be pure magic and it just isn't cutting it!
