AMC: SoapNet confirms Colby recast

Maybe this wasn't about Frankie per se?

Colby was barely on after last summer, when bringing back Debbi and Darnell was just a plan in its infancy. I'm sure they weren't even thinking about Frankie or who they would pair him with back then. I think a new Colby has been in discussions for quite some time.

But it's funny: remember how obsessed Frons was with Ambyr when she first joined. Everyone hated Colby and thought she was a weak actress and Frons went on and on about she was the greatest thing to happen to AMC in years.

But AC really did grow as an actress and she's actually enjoyable now. It helped that they brought Colby down a few notches.

I think she works really well with David Canary and Jacob Young.

Never been a huge fan of AC but she definitely did grow in the role. This new nuColby looks familar, hope she works out.
