Members Cheap21
Its about time this girl come home. It makes no sense that she's always absent for all of the big events that happen to her family, especially her mother, who she lost for a few years. They could easily have Mackenzie Mauzy play her but I think that they dont want her to do a dual role which is why she hasnt even done it for an episode or 2. Lets face it, Phobe is boring and if I had a choice, Id just scrap her, especially since she barely appears anyway, and bring Steffy back as the bitch in training trouble making sister, taking after her namesake, grandma Stephanie. They should have her get burned, thus giving her a new face and eliminating the complications that come with a dual role. So who should play her? Here are my pics 1. Leven Rambin (ex? Lily & Ava AMC). Is she even still on AMC? They wrote Ava out and Lily hasnt been seen in weeks. Leven could definetly hit primetime but if that isnt where she ends up, I think she'd rock as the Forrester daughter on B&B 2. Lindze Letherman (ex Georgie, GH) ABC threw her away so maybe CBS can scoop her up. Im not sure if I can see her playing the bad girl since Im so used to her being the opposite but she's a good actress and might be able to pull it off. 3. Marcy Rylan (Lizzie, GL) She's my favorite young actress on GL and lets face it, the show is a sinking ship. I wouldnt mind if she left and was picked up by the Bells to play this B&B role. 4. Adrianne Leon (ex Colleen, Y&R) The hair color is different but they could work that into story to go along with her new face. Plus the character used to be brunette 5. Lindsey Fonseca (ex Colleen, Y&R) Ditto on the last one
Members UKBoi
Yeah, I dont see why they dont just have Steffy get into an accident while at boarding school and need plastic surgery. Of course, I would really like it if Phoebe started acting differently and begin to think she is losing her mind and nobody knows why only to find out Steffy is impersonating her sister. Then Phoebe discovers her sister is impersonating her and a huge showdown happens that sees the sisters trapped in a burning building or in a car crash or something like that. Steffy is then left disfigured and needs plastic surgery and that's when a new actress steps into the role. PS. ideal actress choice would be Marcy Rylan although I dont know if she's a little too old for the role...while Leven would be perfect she seems kinda over the whole soaps thing. If only Hayden Panettiere (sp?) wasnt such a big star right now, she'd be perfect, although I'm sure there's no shortage of petite blonde actresses who would be perfect for the role of Steffy. Part of me thinks the main reason the show is so hesitant to have Steffy in town is due to the fact she shares a name with Stephanie.
Members Y&RWorldTurner
How about Robyn Richards (ex-Maxie GH)? I miss her...
Members Cheap21
I also thought of Hayden but with Heroes being as big as it is, she's never coming back to soaps. As far as the name thing, well they call her Steffy so its not taht big of a deal. If they did have an issue with that, they could always give her a middle name and call her by that instead I thought of her too but I really have no idea what she's like these days or what she's been up to
Members UKBoi
I'm not a Robyn Richards fan, I always thought she was horrible as Maxie and there was nothing compelling about watching her on screen. Kirsten Storms IS Maxie to me to be honest. Another great potential Steffy would be Ashley Benson (ex Abby, DAYS), she would be perfect for the role but I dont know if she'd go back to soaps either now. However, I really dont buy Phoebe as a blonde considering both of her parents are dark haired. If/when DAYS ends they should snap up Rachel Melvin to play the role, she really looks like the child of Ridge and Taylor and Thomas' sister. Members Juliajms
I'm sure you're right, but Steffy and Phoebe shouldn't be petite blonds. Thomas looks like he's Ridge and Taylor's kid, it would be nice if Steffy and Phoebe did too. The actress who plays Phoebe would have been a good Bridget or SORASed Hope, imo. Members Cheap21
yeah I never knew why they made the twins blonde when both her parents had dark hair. Phoebe came back looking like Brooke's daughter.
Members UKBoi
Yeah I said that in my last post. I was simply meaning that if they wanted someone who looks like Mackenzie Mauzy then a petite blonde is the way to go. However, if they want someone who looks like RM and HT's kid, then a dark haired actress (RACHEL MELVIN RACHEL MELVIN RACHEL MELVIN) would be more suitable. Members DaytimeFan
Brad should fire Mackenzie Mauzy and find someone who can do a dual and actually ACT. Mackenzie Mauzy can't act her way out of a paper bag.
Members Juliajms
I agree, but I think she's pretty much up to B&B's standards. Most of the actors on the show have more looks than acting talent, imo. MM fits right in on that front, but she really should have been cast as Hope. Hope and RJ are going to have to be aged sooner than later, especially now that Jack is on the scene.
Members DaytimeFan
I don't know, I think most of B&B's actors are quite good. Heather Tom, Lesli Kay, Eileen Davidson, Susan Flannery, John McCook, Katherine Kelly Lang, Winsor Harmon, Dan McVicar, Alley Mills, Lesley Anne Down...all talent as far as I'm concerned. On the other hand you've also got Ron Moss, Kyle Lowder and Jack Wagner (he's a great person, but Jack the last good gig you had was Melrose Place) so I see your point. There's just something about Mauzy which is particularly irritating.
Members MarkH
For me, when I think of the Anne Heche, Ellen Wheeler, Jensen Buchanan trifecta at AW, I am reminded how GOOD the dual role could be for a STRONG actress. And so, I'd like them to recast with a single strong actress (and, of the choices listed, I think Leven Rambin would be strongest), playing dual roles with strength. For Rambin, though, this would be redundant with her AMC gig...so I don't think it should be her. I think they need a strong newcomer who can blow us all away with her talent. At this point, I'd like to see Steffy truly be a young Stephanie...fierce, headstrong, manipulative.
Members bakedghoti
Agreed! Which is why it's fitting that Mauzy's father and mother are played by inferior actors like ronn moss and hunter tylo! I don't think steffie needs to return. there are too many women on this soap! lad just inked a new deal to stay on b&b as jackie. the show is casting a brunette girl with a secret. it looks like the show has dropped its interest in casting zack hamilton. william devry's storm is nowhere to be found after the lame conclusion of steph's shooting. b&b continues to not be committed to diversity since lt. baker and det. baker are nowhere. letting steffy join now would be a complete mistake. they need to utilize the women on their show. katie needs a storyline while pam needs to be a regular. enough of taywhore getting her hooks into rick and the brooke/ridge merry-go-round! Members bakedghoti
I agree that lesli kay, eileen davidson, heather tom, susan flannery, katherine kelly lang, alley mills and harmon are good. mccook has always been just sufficient for me. but eric has come alive with the donna pairing. jennifer gareis has her good moments and her awful moments. but the donna/eric/pam storyline should be milked for all its worth. it's the only storyline that's working now on b&b! ronn moss, hunter tylo and mauzy have always been awful. jack wagner plays comedy well, but he looks laughable whenever he calls ridge "forrester" or puts his serious face on. massimo he ain't. and nick has really been ruined for me. it's bad enough that he married bridget (who lost his baby) while still being in love with brooke. but now nick's sleeping with bridget while getting close to katie while still being in love with brooke! eek! even taywhore doesn't sleep thru clans that fast! bridget and katie should fight over nick, but nick should not be paired with brooke. as for lad, she tends to over emote. that's the same problem with kyle lowder. Members JackPeyton
Rachel Melvin would be amazing. But i love Chelsea too much to lose her. Ashley Benson would be my first pick. Gabrielle Christian would also be great. I just cant see Lindze letherman on B&B. and Robyn Richards was awful the last time i seen her act, on Veronica Mars.
