Something has to give with this Elizabeth situation. Despite the fact that more or less her year plus long paternity lie was completely glossed over the fact remains that she is a prime suspect for the hit and run, yet she feels no guilt about it. She just labels it as an accident and believes that Sam should just let it go. Are you serious? Elizabeth believes she is above the law that she can do whatever she pleases. She doesn't feel one modicrum of greif over what she did and I hate how the entire community lets her get away with it by gorging themselves on the beleif that Elizabeth is the pillar of society that doesn't deserve to be punished for her actions. Between Jason and Lucky advocating her actions I have just about thrown up. Sam may not be morally superior but atleast she sees what she does for reality and for what it really is. Elizabeth deludes herself into believing her vantage point equates to godliness and that everyone should follow.

Lucky has forgiven her for the paternity lie and now is covering up her hit and run. Good god free Lucky from the catration that is Elizabeth. It's like she has his manhood in a jar or something.

my goodness, Lulu is acting like a tramp! Just yesterday she was talking about how sorry she was to Logan about the way she treated him over Johnny with the lying, leading him on, etc... She says she wants some time alone from both of them so she can clear her head and make sense of the thing but did give Logan hope. So what does she do today? Go over to Johnny bc she wants to make a future with him but when his words continue to scare her, she sees thats not going to happen and she runs right back to Logan? Can this bitch make up her mind already. I didnt think I would say this, but I HATE Lulu. She is one of the worst characters on the show and she needs to either be axxed or severly backburnered bc I cant take enough of the twit. She is beyond pitiful and an absolute disgrace. I can not stand her anymore

IA. Elizabeth is showing absolutely no sympathy. When Sam showed up, her first instinct was to get into bitch mode and wasnt even apolgetic with what she believes she might have did. Sam kept grasping at her if she felt anything about leaving her off the side of the road to die and Liz acted like she could care less as long as Sam shut her mouth up

It's not about groveling really. Elizabeth is supposed to be the shows premiere heroine. We are supposed to like her and she is supposed to adhere to morals and values because that is supposed to be her character. That is the way she has been written by this heavily handed writing. It's clear to us that Elizabeth is supposed to be the pargon of virtue that everyone wants to protect because she is just so bloody awesome as a virtious: mother/artist/nurse/woman/add here/ect. yet she holds no respect for the law, shows no guilt at all by leaving a person on the freezing cold after she ran over them with her car. Elizabeth herself believes she did it yet she doesn't feel bad about. She doesn't feel that Sam needs to know, doesn't feel that she should own up to her actions, she doesn't understand Sam's anger over Elizabeth's lying and mainpulation of Lucky and Jason. We are just supposed to side with Elizabeth and see her as a victim of Sam when that isn't the case. Please. This is supposed to be the person we root for?

Sam may not be perfect. But she is what she is and makes no lies about it. She atleast has had to go threw consequences for her actions. Unlike Elizabeth who has yet to really have any consequences for her lies and actions.

Although I agree with you that the writing is meant to have viewers side with Elizabeth over Sam, I am not getting the intent to portray Elizabeth as a paragon of virtue or even as some wholly moral character either. All I ever get from the writing is that when you stand the two up side by side, Elizabeth is supposed to be the better of the two when it comes to garnering some sympathy. The main reason for that is even though they tend to give Elizabeth these warped reasons (which are mostly selfish) for lying and hiding the truth, they aren't based on malicious intent. Sam's reasoning is primarily based on malicious intent, though she may have her moments of being genuine.

Besides, they tend to overload everything so that it's harder to see Elizabeth as being unsympathetic towards Sam. In the case of Claudia and Kate, it is very clear that Kate is the good one with a generous heart and Claudia is cold and calculating. Sam is still not very well defined and even though Elizabeth is no innocent, they still had Sam do things that were of a grave enough nature that makes it harder to fault Elizabeth for not being compassionate towards her.

And anyway, I'm not sure why you're expecting anything from GH in terms of virtue, etc. This is a show where they're pushing mobsters with a heart of gold as something to be revered. I am not sure how you're going to get writing that makes a whole lot of sense out of that.

ScrewLu needs to stop with the to-ing and fro-ing because it makes Guza's Heroine look like a user and a ho.

Liz vs Sam = the Whispering War. For crissakes, speak up, ladies!

So wait -- Jason's Shooting Hand has been magically healed. It's a miracle! I was so worried there for a minute.

Kate looks like Lucy Coe with her hair.

Jax = Voice of Reason. Sonny thinks that Demon Spawn apologizing to Kate for shooting her is enough and he's going to cover for him? Sonny and Carly are the world's suckiest parents.

Diane & Max = scene of the day. Alexis & Diane are my favorite friendship. I heart Diane, basically!

Man, why'd they have Carly lose the baby?! What do they have against Jax being a father?

    • Yes, I am familiar with Fred Silverman. Agree, the 90 minute AW a very poor decision by Silverman. I think Silverman was behind the decision to go with Texas.
    • Thanks -- you're doing God's work The Gio reveal was everything I hoped for and more. GH got it right. Head to toe, GM is a stunning physical specimen.
    • I really wonder how they'll handle Netflix's usual long breaks between seasons. That girl is going to grow up fast... makes me wonder if this wouldn't have been a better fit for HBO Max considering they're leaning into a more broadcast style of production model with The Pitt.
    • I agree -- I didn't suspect Ted, either. I think a lot of people are giving themselves way too much credit in predicting Ted's problems

And can I have a different take on Ted here? Yes, he's made a huge mistake with this Leslie debacle, and yes, he has to suffer and pay for it. But does that make Ted a terrible human being? I don't think it does. He made a horrific mistake over 2 decades ago, and as far as we know, he's been a good husband and father since. As far as we know, he hasn't strayed or violated his marriage since. He didn't know that he fathered another child, and thought he "removed" Leslie from his life. I won't blame Nicole if she doesn't forgive him, but I also won't blame her if she decides what they have and what they've had more than makes up for what he did. Ted is getting dragged far more than Bill is on these boards, and I think Bill is MUCH worse as a husband and father. How many times did he cheat on Dani during their marriage? How many times did he do vile things in his role as fixer? How much did he hurt his daughters by screwing their friend and marrying her? With Keith Robinson coming in as Ted, maybe we'll see a character change in direction and we'll discover that Ted has many flaws and always had a dark side. For now, though, I'm inclined to both be angry with Ted for hurting his family while also sympathizing with him. I know what you mean, but I do think that was intentional. So much was going on in that episode, and I think they decided not to let Nicole's reaction be lost in all that. Nicole will get those scenes that you're asking for.
    • That was the original point of me sending you her 6 airdates, so now with those, and the link to the daily episode guide I've provided, that should help you more easily find the additional Ruth Buzzi scenes. I will always repeat myself when it comes to defending my data that I've taken decades to research and compile. But, as you pointed out in a recent post, I am kind, so at least I will do it with you in a kind way as opposed to the usual social media way most people do with just getting rude/nasty. That's not my style, as you correctly pointed out earlier this week, and never will be.  So, all is well!

    • Ambyr Michelle continues to be *that girl.* She’s just a star, period. Elevates every scene she’s in on the sheer strength of her emotional realism and charisma. Can sell any dialogue. I wish the show veered away from the B&B-style scripting. TMG/Leslie’s tirade stood out, I suppose, but she’s getting a bit mustache-twirly. And I wish DD had more to do in that episode than stand and sob.
    • Well, that was down to CBS being weak and not being willing to just pulling the plug entirely. They didn't want to commit to cancelling the show in case they needed it for their schedule basically; plus they kept showing that they were willing to make cuts if needed to be.
    • I'm sorry but clearly what I've said is not satisfactory to you. I have now read what you have to say, twice. As it happens, my interest at this point is looking at other mislabeled files to find this other Ruth Buzzi content. I do not see any point to each of us repeating ourselves, so I will leave it here.
    • It seemed to be your intent. coming into a thread I started and making multiple posts saying my data was wrong. In the next paragraph you say "Of course, I was suspicious from the very first instance where what I saw & heard did not agree with what it should have.  I'm very glad to know why." That certainly didn't stop you from immediately saying the data was wrong, until I provided additional receipts. Why did you not check the daily episode guide (for instance, this one for the 1980's) I posted for the world to see for exactly this reason...to help confirm airdates: http://daytimeroyaltyonline.com/days-daily-summaries-1980-1989-t15361.html? That is what you should be checking BEFORE you make any posts in the future like this, trying to suggest something from my data is incorrect. You could have also messaged me and asked me why your dates weren't adding up with what the correct data is. I would have fast forwarded through that video you posted, spotted Roman and Hope and immediately have told you that was the 11/1/83 episode.
    • Jason, just let me say that it was not my intent to any way impugn any of your data  or research. I'm very sorry if it came out that way. Obviously the person I got these 4 November episodes from has mislabeled files, multiples, which I was certainly unaware of.  When I am editing it is all about what I see & hear. Later, I find time for greater reflection.  Of course, I was suspicious from the very first instance where what I saw & heard did not agree with what it should have.  I'm very glad to know why.  If you find you are no longer interested in the edit, that is fine. I have no ego in this. I did it only to share it.
