B&B: Monday, March 10, 2008 #5266:

Pam reveals her bipolar disorder, admitting that she is no longer taking medication for it. During a visit, Ashley asks Brooke about her intentions towards Nick and Jack. Ashley advises Brooke to stop stringing Nick and Ridge along because Brooke may end up losing both of them.

Must have happened during the commercials!

I've noticed stuff like this on B&B and Y&R recaps quite often, although, usually, much less as bad as this one.^^^

^^^No way!

I thought adding a whole scene that didn't happen was bad enough (Brooke and Ashley) but commercials???

I wonder if getting dialouge from a commerical mixed in is because the person isn't actually watching the show but reading a transcript. I do it to get episode counts and I notice they sometimes miss editing out a portion of the commercial.

I still remember a couple of months ago when Victor and Nikki's marriage dissolved, the cbs.com site wrote that at the end of the episode, Victor "sobs uncontrollably."

I don't even think I saw a tear drop down that man's cheek LOL.

It must be the script; cause, when does Eric Braeden cry uncontrollably?

^^^ Depending on the characters, though, it would've been oddly appropriate.

I didn't see a tear, either.

Yeah, recap(per)s are fun, aren't they?

I prefer cbs.com's recaps to TVGuide's. Only because they categorize them according to storyline rather than chronologically as shown on screen, which is quite incoherent. And the abc.com recaps annoy the hell out of me.

Should I start looking for recaps elsewhere? I'm sure there must be some better ones around.

What about the recaps at SoapCentral.com? Are those any good?

I often wondered about this: My guess is that CBS sometimes just uses the episode drafts for it's recaps - hence they miss on last minute adjustments and mention scenes which fell to the cutting floor. I remember reading CBS.com recpas mentioning character sharing scenes which weren't even on...

Soapcentral.com has some really good recappers who sum up at all the details. Yet, B&B has by far the best online resources with MrSmartyPants' wicked humor and Scott Novick's dedication to detail. Both sites exist for 12 and 8 years respectively...

 I wouldn't go for any other recaps except cbs.com's (abc.com's are terrible! lol). But they still have weird mistakes, which are hilarious! Or maybe they're a look at edited out developments!
