OK yeah Aiden annoyed me today too -- I LOVED his shirt though - I need to get me one, I'd look hot at work!!!

Ok, seriously, 75% of the Angie scenes are about Frankie...and of course she can't neglect Greenlee's case. I don't get how anyone can say every segment about AMC right now is about Greenlee.

Kendall being an author and writing that novel is probably the most stupid random thing ever. Not realistic at all. Oh well. I guess I'd rather her concentrate on this damn book and stop letting her ridiculous jealousy eat her up.

Love me some Debbi Morgan!!!

and whats wrong with that? She IS in the hospital and one of the 2 cases being worked on. Of course her name would be mentioned in every segment, especially considering she was in every segment today. Theres only 2 stories being played out today and she is a key figure in one of them

Sure, today was a little Greenlee-heavy - but the first half of the Angie/Joe scenes were all about Frankie...and most of the time at the hospital they equally ask about Frankie and Greenlee...and Frankie gets good screentime with visits from Angie/Jesse/Opal/Joe/Tad - hell, even Zach came to talk to him.

I'm pretty sure any JR/Adam/Krystal/Tad/Babe/Ritchie/Annie/Emma/Colby/Dre scene doesn't deal with Greenlee. Erica's financial problems and the Senator coming on tomorrow isn't about Greenlee.

It was Greenlee centric but I feel this storyline is more grounded than Crash and Rebecca's scenes with Walt and Thorsten were gentle and I could feel the fear. The actor's have room to act again instead of lecturing and talking At each other endlessly. This has been the best two weeks since Eden Riegel's rape/babyswitch year. All though there is a long way to go regarding balance the tone has come a long way since Madden in a box.

    • I understood it very differently as well. I wouldn't have piled on, but @janea4old and I were clearly composing our posts at the same time (great minds think alike, and fools seldom differ). To me, she was saying that their love was an awakening.  Obviously, she loved Roman and their twins, as well as Don.  But, John revealed something to her that she had never seen before.  I actually think it is a lovely, and very optimistic, idea to think that one's third marriage could be special because you met each other at a specific time in your life. Not to be crude about the departed, but John was trained by the best, and he rocked her world.  Think about it, before Kristin met him, she was just a mild-mannered social worker.  And< I doubt Roman and Kate are doing whatever Doc and John did with those strawberries and cream.  If we translate soap dialogue into reality, that is probably what Marlena meant. Of course, John was only her third husband if you don't count Eugene and

(aka the husband nobody mourned).  If you choose that definition, John was also her 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th husband.  However, I believe it was @carolineg who reminded us that in polite society, friends just say Happy Anniversary, and don't mention the years in between.

    • disagree on all counts To me it's obvious that what Marlena meant was that she was already a complete person within herself before meeting John; but after meeting John her life blossomed to a new level she hadn't known before. I don't think she was bound to John as back and forth caretakers. I think she and John were true equals. Roman loved Marlena in his own way but he was somewhat patronizing at times.
    • I agree that she looks good.  I wasn't slamming her, her age or her looks in my last post.  I was just commenting on the fact that her wardrobe and hair gave me Susan Sullivan/"Dharma & Greg" vibes, lol.
    • I'm sure he's going to have them - ideally not in a way that is rushed or perfunctory.
    • This must have been the week the final episode of "Newhart" aired.
    • Chance aged normally from 1988-2001 but I think he was aged a bit with his 2009 return as a war veteran and police detective.
    • I could see Liz not caring too much about the Gio reveal, but Lucky covering for Kristina almost killing people, herself included, deserves a reaction.  Lucky hardly even knows Kristina.  And the conversation just ended with Lucky going to make dinner, WHAT!!?  Maybe both Lucky and Liz are high on her painkillers lol.
    • Or at least talk about where he went after he mailed that letter
