As for the preview, is it me, or does the new Casey look like a Chucky doll in addition to being handsome?

*shudders* He looked HORRID in the previews. I thought it was Luke with blonde hair at first

The thread is for today, so is the stuff she put in the first post for today or the whole week?

Yup

NuCasey looks like corpse with a bleached blonde wig on his skull.

Does anyone know how Bob will be affected by the stroke, now that he has regained consciousness? Will they follow through with this story, or will this end up like the last time he suffered a stroke?

Probably will not be mentioned again. He will make a full recovery. It's hard to go into detail without giving out spoilers.

He looks like a pasty white strung out Chucky doll. I'm sure a week of Margo's home-cooking (LOL...) and a little time in the tanning bed will cure that. And a haircut.

As for following through on Bob's stroke....surely you jest. Am I wrong...Bob's last stroke wasn't a stroke, was it? I thought the drug Decker injected him with mimicked a stroke. I remember Chris stopping the doctor who was probing into what caused this stroke...that probably means it wasn't a true stroke at all.

I guess nuCasey doesn't know that crack is whack.

(J/K)

Re: Bob's last stroke - Now I'm confused, b/c I thought that drug caused a stroke, and not just mimicked it.

I must say, though, I'm very disappointed they won't play out Bob's recovery more fully. It'd be ... well, not nice, per se ... but I'd like to see what would unfold, as Kim, Tom, Nancy and even Lisa rallied around him and helped him regain all his faculties and motor skills.

Krump dancing, stenbeck? LOL.

A haircut? Don't you know the young guys of Oakdale don't do haircuts? Aaron had to leave town to get one.

A well thought out exploration of Bob's struggle would be nice, but remember that his coma was really about Chris, as Margo's hepatitis was about Katie saving the day as her donor. Oakdale is no country for old men, but a story about the struggle against one's body will never be interesting to todays' soap writers. Bob will be surveying the halls at Memorial once a month in no time. Hell, I give Victoria on Y&R about a week to start doing backflips.
