Is it me or are they totally setting up something big for Katherine? At least it looks to be more realistic and nothing something like switching another baby or something...

I still hate David Chow, but it's good that they're developing the character more and adding more dept.

I can't wait for the storyline where this David Chow mess blows up in Nikki's face because you know it's coming soon...

That was a great cliffhanger at the end of Friday's episode with Katherine collapsing. It was wonderfully directed by Sally McDonald as well.

Also, Gloria needs to rot in hell for the gold-digging gutter trash whore she is....

I just returned from a peaceful, sunny, winterwonderland dream week in the Tyrolian Alps and was VERY pleasantly surprised by Y&R.

The writers strike did for this show what he all didn't dare to hope for. Not only are they doing damage control, they're re-building the house from bottom to roof. Seems step by step they try to phase out that craptacular stories, music effects and that shyte...

Whatever they pay Eric Breaden and Melody Thomas Scott is not enough. Those two are pushing the show back to its former glory. See: no Phyllis is needed. Amber is also superflous. Now they just need to make Jill the alpha-female again and I'm a happy camper.

Umm what's up with MG's hair?? That does not look so great on him.

He is now a client of Kyle Lowder's hairstylist from last year. Hopefully Graz is not visiting the Kyle Lowder school of acting as well... *dear god in heaven*

Exactly, Y&RWorldTurner. Don't know if I'd call it "depth" but he suddenly is bearable and dare I say that I find his story pretty interesting?

If only because that Nikki/Victor divorce is just so delicious. I was in awe over those performances: great acting by Mr Mumbles and a remarkably strong MTS (who I'm usually not one of the biggest fans of...). And hey; Nikki and Victor served some great cliffhangers. Some great muscial themes were used. This was classic Y&R. Keep. It. Coming.

Probably because April Knight was a bad, bad, bad plot twist courtesy of Brad Bell in a desperate moment (love ya Bradley!)

Compared to all what Amber has done so far in Genoa City this April Knight crap felt like Proust... THis Marina-thingy made me want to shake my head against the wall uncontrollably. It was just SO incredibly dumb. Next to the porn story another runners up for worst story ever.

The current regime of Griffith and Bell did a fine job by freeing Jana from jail. The resolution was nearly plausible. Lack of evidence instead of a DA falling for a stupid defence. We would not have gotten that under LML. I've still got several episodes ahead of me, so it's catch-up-time for me and I'm looking forward to it... :o

I think David's past and dual identity is shaping up to be an intriguing story all on its own, even after his secrets are inevitably exposed to Nikki. I suspect he may have turned his back on his powerful mob family legacy, changing his name when he struck out on his own. When he's not able to pay off the loan (which IMO he took out to try and save Clear Springs for Nikki, then he lost his investment when it blew up), instead of being threatened physically, he's forced back into The Family business. Later, he unexpectedly inherits the mantle when his father dies.

Whatever the story turns out to be, I'm glad VI will be getting material worthy of his talent, after being wasted by Y&R for far too long! :)

Go Jack and Sharon! Bring down GloBitch!

Wow, Daniel Goddard is a convincing actor. When he whispered "God, you have a beautiful smile" and started thumbing Lily's lip, I damn near swooned myself.

CANNOT believe I am being sucked into watching this show again.

Me neither: MIRACLE! :o

BTW: VIctor's divorce attorney Jim was none other than Robert Pine who played Brooke Logan's dad Stephen on B&B before he became Bobby Ewing...
