Her birthday is in January, but since Todd and Blair were down in Texas "retrieving" Sam, my guess is that they're going to throw her a big bash to make up for it. They mentioned forgetting her birthday on today's episode actually.

As for Mary, that's cool. She has a new album out and at least it's some promo for her.

Could be right, it seems Mary J. BLige is a fan of OLTL, I look forward to this :)

One Life to Live (A-Channel/ABC) — More drama for Llanview

That Sarah Roberts is one talented club booker! Cristian is going to have to wine and dine his girlfriend when he learns that six-time Grammy Award-winning diva Mary J. Blige is returning the ‘hood on Feb. 15 and 18 to perform two songs from her hit album Growing Pains. “Mary is one of the most prominent and powerful voices in the music industry,” said executive producer Frank Valentini. “She is an inspiration in both her music and her life, and we are thrilled to welcome her back." Blige says, “It’s absolutely amazing to be integrated into a soap opera I’ve watched since I was a little girl. I performed on the show two years ago and had a ball, and I am beyond thrilled to be welcomed back again.”

    • And Kayla could've checked in on him... I'm willing to dismiss the missing exposition (after this comment), but I was beginning to wonder if Bo's dream was how they all suddenly appeared in Salem.
    • I agree. I don't get the point of that post except to manufacture some kind of bias drama. That hair is in style, as is the French/fringe top with a lot of hair in front.   -- Seeing Liz turn off the Nurses Ball TV broadcast and then have all smiles for Lucas was weird as hell.  Just seemed like a big disconnect after watching so much pain from Gio. -- I've stated that I'm a fan of the Nurses Ball. However....it will never NOT be weird when they take these long breaks after a performance and we get scenes of characters in other rooms. I know it's not real life, but this makes no sense. -- I also think the Gio reveal might have been better placed at the end of the other performances. Watching Trina and Joss duet after that Gio reveal was strange. Wouldn't half of the attendees be gone from the room at that point?  -- I understand the Michael reveal going at the end, though. "I'll Be There" amped up the cheese factor like crazy, but holy hell, it worked. Michael's appearance to claim his son was awesome cliffhanger stuff. -- Kudos to GH for quickly working in  "The role of Michael Corinthos is now being played by Rory Gibson." -- No, Kai and Portia and Curtis, Trina and Joss were not "the best performance of the night." We all saw Gio on his violin. -- I don't know why I should care what Joss thinks of the Gio situation. -- Overall, a great week by GH.

    • Hehe....Smitty trying to get some alone time and Martin is just wiggling...I mean walking...away.   Lord...SilkPress. lol.   Hmmm so Doug/Vanessa/Joey are building...
    • Not you saying this as I was reading above about the Nip/Tuck actor. lol. hehe
    • Speaking of one of those floppy-haired guys, were Lucas and Elizabeth portrayed as such close friends when Ryan Carnes was in the role? Not that I'm complaining, because I think Van and Becky are great scene partners, and I loved their "watching the Nurses' Ball at home" scenes today. It was fun to see them dishing about the people at the Ball, and it was a nice contrast to the heavy drama playing out elsewhere.
    • Silk Press Sheila at it again!   Nosy Nurse in her messy element!   Anita vs Tracy!   Smitty and those glasses AND a Jazmen episode?   YES, PLEASE. Same. I love that this show knows how to rotate the cast so you don't get tooooo tired of someone. Some other shows could take note.
    • Leslie envisioning herself as Nicole is why I said PASSIONS. This woman is clearly not happy with herself.
    • Yes he was. Ted had a dark side. One thing I noticed that different is I felt OG Ted had the capacity to kill Leslie if she pushed him too hard. I don’t get with this Ted as he’s been far too patient with her . His angry doesn’t convey the darkness that the character had before. He was ain’t ish in a way I came to feel was worse than Bill. I don’t think the new guy portrays him more from a heroic standpoint.
