So what's tonight's topic? Dare I jump into the fray?

Oh, we have a wide variety of topics for tonight's show.

Let's ee.....we have racism, somesexism, a topic about Obama being a Muslim/Socialist/Communist, the "October Surprise" that we have been waiting for since July, and our daily dose of "You don't show me respect". That's our newest segment.

Tune in and turn on. It's all right here....

On "The Thread".

For those of you who are okay with Keith Olbermann, tonight's Countdown show is interesting. There are a couple of things about the worst person's that have an ewww factor though.

He did a great comparison of Bush's debate speeches amd Palin's.

Didn't he look like a serious perv?

Rachel Maddoe made a good point about Palin's reaction to Joe Biden talking about losing his wife and daughter. I didn't notice that Palin didn't even acknowledge what he'd said.

After Keith read his column, he was barely holding it together. But when they switched back to his picture and Keith started laughing, I lost it.

Where did they find that picture?!

I'm impressed yet again by how there are McCain surrogates that sound so much more coherent on issues tham McCain or Palin. Rachel Maddow finally snagged one and although Rachel kept up with her, it was still good to see.

Here's a good article about the so-called Ayers scandal. it's amazing when media outlets actually do reporting:

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/04/us/polit...amp;_r=1&hp

As far as ACORN, Obama was involved with ACORN in litigation. Guess what, another party on the same side of the issue and who worked with Obama on the issue was the U.S. Justice Department. It was a lawsuit to force Illinois to adopt motor voter.

I guess if these stories are fair game, then so is Cindy McCain's drug addiction and questions of why she was never charged with a crime for stealing drugs. You think maybe it was influence by her husband?

I watched the debate when it was replayed on TV here and Palin was a lot about me, me, me, me.

There was no reaction or emotion from her what so ever when Biden mentioned his wife and daughter and you could see that it still affect's him deeply.

I still don't think that Palin answered the questions correctly, she kept going back to what she did as Mayor and what she is doing as Governor.

Before I sign off for the night, I just want to say something that's been on my mind the last few days.

As far as politics go, I tend to err on the side of what's best for the common good, for humanity. What I feel is the best for all of us, rather than saving a few bucks on taxes (which seem to be the Repub's biggest argument, although it rings hollow for me).

That is why I am supporting Barack Obama. And I'm very proud of that fact.

It may seem simplistic to some, or non-sensical to others, but that's JMHO. The arguments presented thus far in this thread and in the MSM have not persuaded me one iota that John McCain has the interests of the greater good of the American people in his heart, whereas Obama has given me that impression. Not only through his speeches, but in his proposals if he were elected president.

When all is said and done, what will be McCain's tagline if elected? I believe that it will be this. We may have a decimated Middle Class, but at least Big Business has tax breaks and Roe V. Wade has been overturned. What an accomplishment. <_<<_<

That's exactly how I feel too!
