Ok. Thanks for that, Wicca. I was hoping he did.

In any case, Greg that is just foul. The state had to go after them to keep the promise they made when they shut down and left the area? Now why spend tax dollars fighting to receive a return on a promise to hire back the amount of workers you said you would?

And they got tax breaks on top of all that? That's what I'm talking about.

I agree with some of what Howard Fineman says....definitely about the complex "speak" of Obama. He does need to employ the KISS method and get to the heart of the matter because people do tend to get lost or if they;re like me with the short attention span, they lose interest and start noticing silly little things. While I think that all of what he says may contribute to reasons he lost, if he loses, I don't think they will be the major reasons.

If certain voters decide that they don't like Obama for any reason (especially for a reason beyond his control) then it's not going to matter what he does. He's fully aware of that and maybe he's okay with taking that chance. He's fully aware that there are going to be lots of reasons put out there for why he didn't win if he doesn't and he's going to accept a little of everything as being true. I will always think well of him for putting himself out there because none of us will never know how hard that road is to travel under the best of circumstances much less his.

There is no reason in the first place for this election to be as close as it is, but its just the situation we are in. It being so close is more beneficial for McCain than Obama obviously and we are starting to see that. This election is anyone's at this point. The debates will be key I think. I still am holding onto my belief that Obama will win, but it certainly isn't a guarantee, and it will be all but a dream unless Obama and the Dems shift the focus and quick. Find something to counteract this Sarah Palin phenomena, because it clearly isn't going to go away on its own.

They need to stay on message (which needs to be concise) and be well prepared for their debates. They don't need to counteract Palin at all since she's not the presidential candidate and they don't need to panic or contribute to the confusion. Once people have heard that same speech of hers over and over some of the shine will come off on its own. I haven't even watched anything but sports yakking today (which is almost as bad since they're still stuck on Tom Brady is out for the season.....uh huh.....what are the Patriots going to do....uh keep playing).
