July 9, 200817 yr Author Administrator But still, it should be a crime for Kathryn Foster to direct stories written by Dena Higley. It really is a crime. They're so being wasted on Dena's crappy episodes. I bet they're so bored that they don't get the chance to showcase their directing abilities.
July 9, 200817 yr Member Bradley needs to give a good 2 to 4 of those writers back to Y&R, they're doing nothing over at B&B. Then they can focus on trying to get back McCaffrey, Jones, and Bible, etc. Not to mention Patrick Mulchahey. It'a ALSo a crime that he have to write amazing scripts set to B&B stories...

July 9, 200817 yr Member Foster resigned herself from Y&R, right? Was LML the reason? Of course, Latham was made EP in like Sept 2006 and Kathy was gone by November. Not a coincidence. I remember Kathy's goodbye letter to the Y&R staff and fans...
July 9, 200817 yr Member Because Bloom obviously doesn't see Shaughnessy. He must be invisible or something. I SO want him to be the exec. Toups, can you tell us who is the last fired writer now? As MarkH mentioned, I think Bloom's influence on Y&R is diminishing rapidly. I don't think she was behind Maria being made HW, that had to have been a Bell decision. Also, she loved Latham, and now Latham and most of her cronies are gone. If the Bell's wanted Shaughnessy back, he'd be back already, IMO. The Bell's are as much to blame for what happened to Y&R as Bloom, they let it happen.
July 9, 200817 yr Member OK! Change of subject ('cause I'm bloody rigid bored with the Y&R talk ) - Toups, have you heard anything about other possible AMC & GH changes? Edited July 9, 200817 yr by Sylph
July 9, 200817 yr Member I doubt GH will be getting any changes. If anything, Conforti and Wolf will be writing more scripts with Thomson and someone else leaving. Edited July 9, 200817 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
July 9, 200817 yr Member Definitely an anglophile :-) That's a line I adore I stole from a British show. I'm trying to remember which one was it... And somehow Cold Feet or something like that comes to mind.

July 9, 200817 yr Member You definitely cannot beat our version/use of the English language. Our version of what? I was referring to Nesbitt/Baxendale/Thomson/Ripley British comedic drama.
July 9, 200817 yr Member So, here's a n00b question for all of you "in the know:" How can you tell who writes a particular episode? Is there any way to tell from the end credits? Does it differ from show to show? Thanks so much!
