It's been a while since I've seen any Days spoilers on this board, and since no one else has posted this, I thought I'd break the news.

According to a poster (a fairly reliable source) at NBC.com's Days community, Julie Pinson (who portrays Billie Reed), has been let go from the show. She wraps up filming in late January. Lauren Koslow, who plays Kate Roberts, has resigned with the show, but took a big paycut.

I knew Days would start to trim the fat somewhere, and I love the show right now for the first time in ages, but I liked Pinson as Billie, and hate to see her go if true.

Billie was pretty useless...

As much as I can see this happening I hope this isn't true. Billie has alot of potential and in the past few weeks seeing the family dynamics between billie/kate/phillip/lucas makes me wanting to see more.

she just sign another contract when the show for 2 years

Well, you know contracts don't mean a thing to DAYS.

I'm sad to see her go, she's a terrific actress and she truly made this role her own, IMO.

If true, that sucks! I love Julie. She's beautiful, talented and has chemistry with everyone.

hmmm lets get rid of billie so we can afford chloe and a new brady which will no doubt be on the way back and some more sorroity girls and boys...yahoo

If this is true, it sucks Julie is leaving, but she hasn't done a damn thing at all this year. Since they pulled her out of the Steve/Kayla story, Billie hasn't had any direction. I'd rather Julie be allowed to work elsewhere than sit around doing nothing. With the big DiMera story coming up, they had to trim the cast somewhere.

I love Julie Pinson and I think she's the best Billie, or tied with Lisa Rinna's original run. I hope this rumor is false. Billie's been getting more airtime lately. I sure hope that Billie and Pinson stay and she gets more airtime and a love interest (calling Dr. Mike Horton) in 08.

This bites because I really like her as Billie. However, they killed a ton of storylines for her. She would have been perfect with Frankie, or Mike Horton. I hope she lands on her feet somewhere if this is true.

Wow I just gotta say that pic of yours in your sig is HOT! Brandon Beemer never looked sexier....and Nadia...OMG! If they pair the two of them up together I'll definitely tune it to see that.

SNS is now confirming Julie Pinson has been let go as well. I don't know if it makes this story more, or less reliable. I don't know much about SNS, so I can't say for sure if the site is accurate. I do know they said Dee had been fired at one point, and that was a bold faced lie.

I guess we'll see..........

I really like Pinson and Billie, but this has been pretty clearly coming for a while now. Too bad.

I would love for Pinson to stay in soaps; maybe land on a New York based show. I could see her on Guiding Light or As the World Turns
