Why should they be protected? Because their fanbase yells the loudest? No way. I am over the moon thrilled that TPTB aren't bending over for that self entitled crap. exactly what have we Kaidan fans done to AM/Kendall that have made you sick? I havent seen Kaidan fans loud and vocal and involved in fanbase wars or making noise. They've hardly been a threat to Zendall and even now they arent. I havent seen Kaidan fans bashing AM, trashing Kendall or ruining her. Blame the writers NOT the fans for what you percieve to be crap coming up. Kaidan fans got screwed over big time by AMC in the worst way for the Rendall redux. For 4 years, we have gotten nothing. Most Kaidan fans acceptted that they will most likley never become a coupel btu all we wanted was a continued friendship between the two as they were best friends above anything but AMC ignored it and most recently trashed that. This sex scene is completely unexpected and a complete shock. Will they reunite as a couple? Most likely not, but does that make the scenes any less hot? Nope. I will love and savor this moment for as long as it last.

last half of 2003 was Kendall and Aidan's story. They both confessed their love for each other and the writing was in their favor as they were abot to mvoe on together. She was written as if she did love him and kept going back to him and he was always there for her. Next thing Ryan returns, Kendall cheats on Aidan with him and they abruptly drop her and Aidan at teh close of the Cambias trial. Thats how we got screwed over. Not even any scenes of them as friends after and they've barely had much to do with each other after as if they never existed.

And what is so out of character for Kendall to sleep with another man? She has a history of acting slutty at times. Look at how many men she's slept with since AM took over the role. Kendall is just like her mother and this fits in line with her character

It is out of character for Kendall because they had shown her hoping against hope that Zach would return to her and their sons, thoughout this story. To have Kendall give up just because Aidan says Zach and Greenlee are 'dead' is pathetic writing, if you ask me.

I don't see Zendall going poof-I don't think they will be officially over- and I don't see how they are killing the show. There are a lot more factors then 1 couple. JMO
