Excellent show. Great job you guys. I think Marlena/Connie reiterated a lot of what we are feeling as fans of the great soap genre being destroyed by people who don't get it or care about it. I think this opinion is shared by a lot of folks at the soaps and the soap press too, but obviously due to their jobs and responsibilities they can't be as open about it. The frustrating part is - if we all know it's broken - why can't anyone fix it?

Night Shift was kind of a let down for me. I expected most of the stories to be resolved but it didn't seem like any of them were. The "Brenda" thing. Why did they even mention it, if they were just going to basically ignore it.

Did Robin get shot or does this have something to do with her mother?

I was more disappointed with that ending than the Sopranos. LOL

I liked seeing the Cody/Lainey story carried over to GH, but I thought carrying over all of the stories at once was too much. They should have just repeated last night's episode during GH if that was the case.

Thanks for posting. The promo I saw during ATWT yesterday was great too. Disaster at Clear Springs? That set must have cost a zillion dollars.

Thanks to the "In the Zone" guys for reading my question to Marlena the other day. Her answer shocked me a bit. I would amend her statement by saying the networks think they're making soaps profitable, not watchable. If they watched what was being aired on their soaps, they would feel differently.

Hi Nell,

I originally canceled the show b/c I was supposed to be going to a concert tonight. However my douchebag friends didn't bring enough tickets so eh...

Anyways, I went to reschedule the show but it wouldn't log me in.

:(
