I liked it. The scenes from "Hearts and Scalples" were hilarious. I loved the guests stars! Jennifer Coolidge (who was hilarious as "Pussylips"), Oliver Platt, Bradley Cooper (his character on H&S was funny too), Daphne Zuniga, Paula Marshall, Tia Carrere, Craig Bierko (I can't believe there are people out there like his characters.....sick!!).

It was a good start. I had fun watching it.

Did anyone see the "Plastic Fantastic" episode? That was hilarious!!

- Christian stirring things up by being the "bad guy" ala Will on Big Brother. LOL

- I Love New York! LMAO

- The hidden cameras

- the Lesbian triangle

- the screaming and arguements

It was so fun to watch.

I need to vent. I can't stand Julia. I don't understand why Christian and Sean are so in love with her. She's whiney, she's dependent and she's a hypocrite. Sleeping with Christian but getting upset with Sean for sleeping with Eden. HELLO he's a single man he can sleep with whomever he wants. She bugs me.

Anyway, I'm loving Oliver Platt and I wish Hearts & Scaples was a real show.

I was never a fan of Gina. She was annoying and clingy. However, I thought they did a good job with her funeral. It started off funny, but ended on a sad/happy note.

The sad thing is the only female character I like on the show is Liz. They need to give her more to do.

I didn't really care for Gina in the beginning either. But over the years I began to apperciate her more and more and I thought she was truely a tragic character who had deep issues and now finally seemed to be able to move past them. I feel sad for her because when we first saw her she was recovering from her sexual addiction and then Christain shows up and all of her progress is completely shot to hell. Gina had alot of issues. Her eating disorder, social disorder and her self destructive behaviour really made me want to root for her.

It looked like she finally turned around and made something of herself. I actually think that Gina was the one woman that I could see Christina being with. But he never really loved her for her. Christian never really loves anyone really. So to have her killed by Christian when he was the primary catalyst for her disintergration at the start of season one in the first place just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Moreover the fact that Christina doesn't even feel guilty over it and that she is virtually forgotten is beyond reprehensiable. Especially since she was an important characters in seasons 1-3.

I want Kimber to be destroyed this season. I am hoping she is the next big death this season....

Me too!! Get rid of her once and for all.

I'm beginning to think Ryan Murphy doesn't like women. A majority of the female characters are either crazy or sluts.

I'm getting tired of the Christian does random women montages. It's old and tired. I know a lot of people didn't like Michelle but I liked them because we got to see a different side of him. It's been the only committed relationship he's been in since the show started.

I thought the season started off strong but it's fading. There isn't any continuity. One week Julian and Christian are together the next they aren't. Is Julia still with Olivia? Sean and Eden are together and then they aren't. It's confusing.

I personally hate Christian. I just find him to be the most arragont, selfish and mainpulative character ever. He has no soul. He steps all over women be it Kimber, Gina, Julia or Natasha. He has cheated, diminshed and destroyed all of these woman in one way or the next and doesn't give a damn about the damage he has inflicted and feels no guilt for his actions. He just continues to persist and continues to believe that he is gods gift to women.

I feel bad for Matt this season, because it seems like he truely wanted to do whatever he could for his family and tried to provide for them. But Kimber left him and took his daughter and was a total bitch. So I am happy that she is in pain now. I actually feel really bad for Eden which is a singifcant change because I didn't care about her before.

This season has been luke-warm at best. It's not as horrid as season 4 but it is no where as good as seasons 2 or 3. It falls somewhere in with season 1. It's like it's trying to find it's footing and formula. I will say that I am very dissappointed by the send off given for Gina who was a major character for 3 seasons. Her death seems to be invalidated and like she wasn't even important at all to the show.

I feel bad for Matt too. He was trying do to what was right for his family but Kimber manipulated him and got him into the whole Meth mess. I'm estatic she's in pain but I want her to suffer more.

I have mixed feelings about Eden. I felt dirty rooting for her and Sean but she needs to toughen up. She talks a good game but she's easily rattled. Another thing in continuity is her getting mixed up in porn. It's so random.

I agree about Christian although I did love him at first but now it's tiresome and Julian McMahon isn't as hot as he used to be.

I think that they really went above and beyond with the villians of season 5. Colleen was a caricature, I mean they really made her a cartoon. They had her stuff a man to death and now I am just really disappointed in how they killed her off. There was nothing really spectacular about her ending and she just ended up commiting suicide. It was never revealed that she killed anyone, we never really got to see any insight or backstory to her. She was just used for shockvalue. Meh. Hopefully we'll get to see Eden develop more but as it is now we don't really understand anything about the major antagonists. Which is very different from seasons 2, 3 and even 4's major villains.

Wow..now that was a shocking last 10 minutes of Nip Tuck..Could be up there with some of my all time favorite moments..I was so relieved when Julia discovered that Eden had been poisoning her with mercury....But absolutely shocked when Eden shot her..What a crazy bitch!!! Next week looks incredible..

I now officially believe that Eden is a cartoon. She went from being utterly devestated last week over Sean's dismissal of her and running back to Ram the porn producer only to go back and kill of Julia. They take this character to major extremes within a period of one or two episodes and don't set anything up to make it seem plausiable or understandable. It's beyond jarring to see her acting like this just after she was having a threesome with Kimber and Ram. I guess long gone are the days of The Carver, Ava and James who were realistic and interesting villians. I guess now they will just play up campy out of this world caricatures. I guess that's the major difference from Miami and L.A.

I feel soo bad for Matt. He has never had a real normal girlfriend. He is just lost and will always be. Season one he had the girl he loved become a lesbian, season two he fell in love with a trasngendered woman, season three he fell for a neo-nazi, season four he fell for the scientoligist Kimber and season five he is falling for his half sister. Jesus this guy never gets a break.

Christian is an [!@#$%^&*].

    • I think the gross ickiness is Josh Griffith's intention. At birth, Ian Ward stole Mariah from Sharon, so that Sharon knew only of the Cassie twin and not the Mariah twin.  Sharon gave up Cassie for adoption at birth, never knowing that Mariah existed. When Ian Ward stole baby Mariah, he had her be raised by a woman member of his cult. She grew up in his cult. Years later, after Mariah was an adult in Genoa City and had left him, he tried to kidnap her to marry him himself, I sort of remember some icky scenes where he had arranged a wedding, but she escaped or was rescued -- it was so gross that I chose to forget it, and I don't want to look up the details. Mariah is feeling traumatized/triggered by Ian Ward being in Genoa City several months ago, because he was obsessed with her, and he terrorized her loved ones, interacted with Tessa, and drugged Sharon, which ultimately resulted in the death of Heather -- causing the grief of Daniel and Lucy. None of that was Mariah's fault. But she was so horrified by what happened, that she feels she did something wrong that caused this hateful villain to continue to obsess about her.   Based on small comments that Mariah made recently, I think she feels completely worthless. I gather that when she was away on the business trip a month or two ago, all of what happened with Ian Ward and Heather's death just hit her all at once and she was mentally/emotionally collapsing, and just felt unable to call for help.  During the business trip she sat in her hotel room and spiraled more, feeling more and more worthless and afraid. Finally she started drinking at a bar, and that's when the creepy old man approached her.  By that point, she wasn't in her right mind, and started interacting with the guy.  Either she thought he was Ian, or she thought he was someone like Ian, and she would be *required* to flirt with him in a role play, and do what he commanded, almost like old programming being reactivated.  Or perhaps just simple self-loathing playing out. I don't know if the guy actually knew Ian or Jordan, or if he was a random stranger.  But Mariah's fear/loathing/subconscious chaos kicked in. And then... well that's as far as her flashbacks have aired so far. She can't bear to face the rest of whatever it was.  I gather that in the coming episodes, we'll (eventually) find out what happened next as we see more of the icky flashbacks. --------------- The rest of this post is only my speculation: I think that she felt like she was supposed to have sex with him but didn't want to, and may have tried to kill him instead. Or he r*ped her.  Or they didn't have sex at all, but it's all convoluted in her mind.  Something horrible happened but I don't think it was her fault.  If the man died, maybe she covered it up?  I really don't know, I'm just speculating ideas. At any rate, I'm totally convinced that this is NOT a conventional "cheating storyline" where someone willingly has sex outside their relationship. ----------------- This is basically Josh Griffith's obsession with dark storylines, creepy villains, and terrible writing of "mental health issues".

    • Right. Literally for decades, soaps mesmerized their audiences with tales of romance, family conflict, class struggles, and recognizable interpersonal-relationship sagas. We didn't need relentless, heavy violence. We didn't need clones, mad scientists, extra-terrestrials and demon possessions. We didn't need gaggles of plastic himbos and bimbos pushing beloved vets off-screen. We only needed to see people whom we cared about, and the intelligent, moving progression of their lives. Flashy sets, gaudy gimmicks, and high-falutin' hairdos be damned. The characters and the words were important.
    • Absolutely! Brad should've simply moved on from Lunacy. There's no point of freeing her, if you're not going to at least make an attempt at redemption or incorporating her into the fold. It happened with Quinn, who committed quite a few felonies before become the Forrester Matriarch.  Heck, keep Lunacy in prison and have Poppy/Finn discover that she gave birth to twins - 'Sunny' could've come on with a clean slate and still had Sheila/Finn and all the other drama. It certainly couldn't have been worse than what we've witnessed with the destruction of $B.

    • I had totally forgotten that Courtney story. I see Burton was already phoning it in by that point.
    • omg I completely missed that, but now when I see it typed here in your post, it's obvious icky cringe. So now I just checked and Tomas said that -- on May 27 that he likes the author Carl Ivati.  He said it with sort of an accent, so I didn't catch the stupid joke or think about the spelling.   I remember when that aired, that I actually said to myself at the time, "I wonder if that's a Latin American author, and I will have to google him later." And now I see your post, and I see. Well that's cringe, and I feel stupid to have fallen for it.

    • There's a lot you don't need if you have the writing.  You don't even need large casts!  You could make do with a cast of 12-18 actors if the writing is there.
    • Thank you. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with sleeping around if your spouse actually knows about it. She’s just a cheating slut.
