LOL...well, that's a fine pickle. Katie decides to stay and fight for a marriage, knowing Jack married her while he was still in love with Carly (and there's no way to say he's just not loved Carly...)???? WHY??? OMG...how can you ever forget that?

Ugh...why can't Carly's life ever be simple? Either Jack loves her or he doesn't. I'm tired of her falling into the same old habits, hoping to get the truth from Jack.

When Jack finds out Carly's been keeping the truth from him, making him and the kids suffer with the news that she's dyng (at least Parker - I don't remember if the other kids were told the truth), it's just going to reaffirm all his reasons for letting her go/not taking her back in the first place.

When will Carly ever learn?

So now that Carly's going to keep this development to herself, I'm sure we'll still read opinions that she and Katie are nothing alike anyway.

Of course, they're nothing alike...Katie is good and pure.

Dare I hope Brad tells her the truth, and Katie wets her pants, KNOWING that Carly's lie will "end" anything Jack may feel for her, only to have him come home, and tell Katie it doesn't matter that Carly kept the truth from him for a day or two? ^^^Gundaker gave a preview 2 weeks ago in SOD too regarding the Carjack story. I don't know if it means anything or not. But with news of what they are doing with this story that had been so good, they sure as heck need to do something and fast for a writing change!

And why would Katie even want to stay with Jack once he tells her she is sloppy seconds? I really hope there is a key piece of this missing as to why Carly doesn't tell Jack right away. I hate what this does to the character of Carly. She would never hold the truth like this from her kids and especially Parker who is so worried. Yes she has lied and schemed before and I expect she will again but not about life and death.

This is a good plot twist...but darn Katie will be back up on her high horse looking down upon Carly in a matter of seconds after learning this. I can't stand that girl.

You would think so, but that would make sense and this show rarely does. Was the issue between Carly and Jack ever love? I've always seen it as them being totally incompatible and that's never had a thing to do with love.

Y'know, now I feel compelled to plead Carly's case. She's never lied to Jack about her feelings for him. She stepped up back in July (before JJ was kidnapped) and told him she still loved him. If he's been pushing her away since then, then he's been lying every day since, to both Carly and Katie.

Carly obviously can't keep this secret forever. But delaying telling him the truth (which is exactly what she did when she was diagnosed) to get to the truth of his feelings for a day or two....I'm not seeing where this is so unforgiveable. Jack will forgive her, because he's finally ready to let go of the anger.

Now, God forbid, she drags this out for a month or two...that's a different story. But I'm kinda sure that won't be happening. 'Cause it sounds like Bradski will tell Katie the truth---thereby assuring everyone his feelings are genuine for Ms.Katie. And we know Katie wouldn't ever keep her mouth shut.

I see Carly keeping this BIG HORRIBLE secret for all of one day, maybe two, tops, in SOAP TIME! I mean, look how everybody was blasting her left and right for not telling her kids she was dying and for not telling her sisters that she was dying, and, in soap time, the poor thing hadn't even had two full days to process the news herself. People were harping on her and judging her as if she'd known for months she was dying and not told anybody. It was a couple of DAYS! And I might be proven wrong, but I'm betting this new "secret" will last just about as long. And, lest we forget, JJ and Sage don't even know she's supposed to be dying. All they know is that she's sick and they expect her to get well. So it's only Parker who knows everything. And, after the way he turned at the door today and told his mom that he just has this strong "feeling" that she's gonna get well, there's no way she's gonna keep this from him for more than a day or two.

^^^Yeah, I remember the last time Carly "lured" Jack to Montana, lying so she could get him out of Skankerbee's clutches long enough to try and remember anything about his life, that lasted all of half a day, in soap time. They were all back (because Skankerbee just had to follow...) on a plane to Oakdale, five minutes after Jack remembered who he was.

Do the writers really need to destroy CarJack even further just to "redeem" Katie? Come on. If they would just write Katie with a heart I think the job would be done a lot faster. I'm glad I quit ATWT. This entire show is sick.
