In my view anyone would be better than LML and her merry band of hacks. I hate that woman.

I'm beginning to think Megan McTavish and/or Jean Passanante would be better.

I'd only accept David Shaughnessy back as EP, because I can't really see anyone else understanding what Y&R is and should be. I'm sure he's rehire his close friend, Kay Alden, again too.

Please do not tell me that you are serious above your statement. I know people despise LML, some even want harm done to her (we must pray for LML if she is indeed unhealthy), but she's miles above McTavish & Passanante combined.

In all my years of watching mutiple daytime shows, I've never seen a year as bad as AMC 2006. Passanante should have never HW any show to begin with. OLTL, then AMC, then ATWT. When will people see her for what she truly is: A talentless, uncreative writer lacking true passion for writing?

As for Shaughnessy: Was he fired from Y&R in 2004, or did he quit? He rocked the show- revitalized it, whipped it into shape-the same way Sheffer did for ATWT from 2000-Mid July 2004.

Megan Mctavish would do well on Y&R or ATWT. I dont really watch ATWT much so I cant say it with as much assurance as I could with Y&R. Just fire Adrienne Fritz before Mctavish comes aboard.

I am gonna say this but Megan McTavish would do better. When she wrote in AMC from 1992-1995 it was prefect. Very little to skip! I loved AMC during the 1990's. LML is just a crappy writer and needs to be fired before Y&R will become the crappiest soap on the air right now (Oh wait to late!)

From my understanding, he left on his own accord, but continued to occasionally direct both Y&R and B&B. He doesn't occasionally direct Y&R anymore, but she still directs B&B from time to time. Y&R threw him a party when he left, so I doubt he left on bad terms. He also helmed the show to its first Emmy win for Outstading Drama Series in the post-Bell era. He also had a better working relationship with both Alden and Smith. Damn, I miss him!

He's still close with the Bells, who knows, he might find his way back to Y&R soon enough.

Now the latest rumor surrounding the show is that Bernard Lechowick is writing the show with Lynn Marie Latham. I thought there wasn't enough in Y&R budget to pay for Lechowick's hefty salary? Is this why Sara A. Bibel, Jenelle Lindsey & Paula Cwikly are no longer writing for the show, with Marina Alburger writing less often?

RuAsRuAnAu, I agree with Sylph...stop stirring up stories about nothing. Of course Lechowick has been writing Y&R with LML, he's her husband and he's been with the show as a credited creative consultant for MONTHS! All of these ridiculous rumors are getting very tiresome.
