It does have great balance, but I have a feeling it all has to do with their low budget. They are going to make sure that no one works more than their guarantee! So even Zimmer and Ehlers don't appear all of the time anymore, and Nicole Forrester, who has been in the most episodes, is still on a newcomer Salary

^Days with it's current budget crisis could sure pick up a few tips from GL in the balancing act. They should start applying the rule now, before their budget goes to hell like GL's.

^I agree with you guys there, why the hell is she on more than Beth Ehlers?

Even though Zimmer had the most episodes in Aug, it really didn't feel like she was on all that much. In terms of strong acting by women, I think Chappell and Ehlers dominated August. I really hope come Emmy season, Zimmer finally takes her name out of the running and lets Chappell and Ehlers occupy the two Lead Actress pre-nom spots. She said she's do it if more women stepped up and both Chappell and Ehlers are past Lead Actress nominees.

Zimmer has 13 and Lucci has 11 on her show so they are only two apart in episode counts though it would seem much more if we go by material.

Ehlers took her usual summer vacation which lasted for about two weeks when Harley went away with Dylan to the rehab clinic. That probably explains why she wasn't on as much this month...

Zimmer I think will always nominate herself, she is the Guiding Light no matter if we like it or not...I'm not sure though if she, Chappell or Ehlers have had the material for Lead Actress. Okay nevermind...I take that back, KZ will have the early 2007 stuff with Jonathan's death and February so yeah, she'll be in the Lead category w/CC and BE fighting out for the second spot, although...Nicole Forrester might be bold enough to step in that territory!

Nice to see a balanced list. But i must say that only two eps for Beth but six for Lillian and three for Blake and Vanessa.

When has Lillian appeared more than her onscreen daughter, not complaints i like Lillian, i also like Vanessa and Blake but really more Beth, i know that they are all recurring, but i find them so much more funnier to watch then Beth Ehlers,Kim Zimmer, Crystal Chappell, Jessica Leccia. But the list is really balanced....................!.
