GL deserves to fall. It has been teribble of late.

I thought ATWT would rise a bit more.

The total viewers for ATWT tells me what fans want to see, Carly and Jack and Luke and Noah. Monday and Tuesday were heavy Luke and Noah days, and Thursday was heavy Carly and Jack. Friday was that dang boring quad Meg/Craig/Paul/Rosanna.

I stand by what I said. I think Days would benefit a lot if it went to CBS (assuming NBC drops it).

Yes, and history has shown that soaps lose more than half of their audience when they switch networks. CBS has always skewed older, whether its primetime or daytime, the 18-34 demo isn't what matters most to them. Barbara Bloom and Les Monves have both made it pretty clear that they look for overall ratings and performance in a variety of demos, not strictly the 18-34 demo. CBS won't be picking up a show with budget problems, eroding ratings, and especially a soap that's been canceled by another network. CBS has vested interests in both GL and ATWT, both have been on their network longer than any other program, and right now, both show either do better overall than Days or perform in the same margin. Also, with the way how daytime ratings have consistently diminished throughout the past 20 years, it's very unlikely that any major network will ever pick up Days, should NBC ever cancel it.

And um get rid of both P&G soaps? Getting rid of one soap alone is bad news for the entire industry. I don't want any CBS or ABC soap to be canceled just to give Days a safe home.

I'd also like to add that Days costs way more to produce than GL and ATWT, which makes it even more unlikely that both shows would be canceled, just to save Days.

I agree. If DAYS moves to another network I don't want any soaps to be cancled just for DAYS. DAYS has justed screwed themselves!

I just find it funny that some people would like to cut two soaps out of daytime just to save DAYS. What are the fans that left magically going to come back to DAYS because it moves to CBS.

I hate it when people think that just to save DAYS they are willing to cut other soaps. DO NOT THINK SO!!

Lol at the boycott. Glad that it didn't work.

CBS should just dump ATWT and GL and pick up Days...those two aren't doing anything right now. Even Noah and Luke aren't saving ATWT. And GL hasn't had anything to be excited about since Tammy died.

Glad GH went up...and yeah Logan & Lulu are cute but I'm more of a Coop & Lulu supporter myself. Maxiepad can just disappear for all I care.

The show however is excellent overall. Between the Sonny/Kate and upcoming Mob storyline, Jax/Carly & Jerry, and Jason/Elizabeth/Lucky/Sam quad I'm very optimistic about the next few months.

Why would CBS pick up Days when it is doing worse than ATWT and about the same as GL?

Why would CBS dump those two shows in favor of a show doing even worse??????

Agreed

Puuuulease! DAYS is a real stinker for many years, I tuned out of DAYS in the early 90s when they first wrote out Jack and Jennifer, and fired Eve, Nick, and the real Bo (P. Reckell) left the show, etc, etc, right before the disastorous Jim Reilly came aboard. Mr. Reilly really ruined DAYS along with NBC especially when they cancelled Santa Barbara and Another World.

CBS is loyal to GL and ATWT, GL is far better than DAYS (strictly IMO) all around, so I highly doubt that CBS will want to pick up a messy show with a hemorraging budget.

So your comment about CBS should dump ATWT and GL is totally irrelevant to me.

Again I agree.

Wow!...what a shock!!???...NOT!!!...LOL...Luke and Noah are heavily featured on Monday(the kiss) and Tuesday(Luke/Noah/Noah's dad) and they go up from a 2.1 last week to numbers of 2.3 and 2.4. Hmmmmmm...I wonder what ATWT should do? Promote the hell out of Luke and Noah???....I think so!!! And they havent been on all week.

If it wasn't for that dud Friday singing contest, B&B would have got 2.9 or even 3.0. When will Brad Bell realise that the majority don't want to see D grade American Idol rejects and mediocre musical talent on a soap?

The .1 increase in ratings for the week can be attributed to one person: Katherine Kelly Lang! B)B)

DAYS: Still mediocre! How on earth Sheffer keeps his job is a mystery to me!

Glad to see B&B up last week. It was real good. I guess Y&R boycott didnt work...LOL...What happened Alvin?:P

For the next rating days will go 100% i hope +4

I can guarantee that is not going to happen. I am surprised GH got a .2 boost. It is rare nowadays.
