As I said last week, NBC deserved the ratings it received the week before, and it deserves the ratings it got last week. However I predict an upswing for this week's ratings. The show has been very, very good and hopefully the fans have tuned in.

DAYS has to stay consistently good...then the ratings will begin to recover. We've had several good shows in a row now, but they have to do this every single day. We can't have Touch the Sky and the never-ending Belle/Philip/Shawn saga take over 3-4 days a week again, because that's not bringing in--or keeping--viewers. Those stories are boring and very few like them. Last week was bad and deserved those ratings. This week is awesome and deserves a rise, but how are the disenchanted viewers supposed to know that so they will start watching again? It's very frustrating.

ITA with you on this. I guess it's been so long since I've seen this many good episodes in a row that I'm overly giddy. But on a serious note, Days has to keep up the pace and the quality. We've seen where things looked promising (was it around this time last year until December?) and then it fell apart. Once Days proves that viewers can "trust" it again, the ratings will go up and sustain. They have all the right pieces in place. But they've got their work cut out for them to earn that trust.
