TC is covering the Arizona challenger next week with many top players asking for wildcards. Curious which top players are entered. TC was vague.

TC had a live show and Miami tourney is still a go but no one knows what will happen. Ranking points were discussed and the points have come off but they are still discussing what to do about it. Tracy Austin said it is unfair for Thiem, the defending champion, to lose all his points.

We'll be the last ones to know but considering the fact that the W.H.O. just designated COVID-19 a pandemic, I'm not counting on Miami to happen, not without a serious reversal in the rate of infections.

In fact, I'm hearing rumors of the Tours being shut down completely for several weeks.

I'm hoping if tennis stops for a while that they will roll over the points..or freeze them until next year. I hear Spain is a mess. The French Open is still a go but to have no warm up tourneys before it would be awful.

TC live was on again and it's looking like no Miami Open even though TC is promoting it.

Italy players stuck in LA.  I guess with points coming off....Isner will drop out of the top 40.  FAA and Shapo have semi points coming off.

Just as I suspected.

I have to go on ahead and admit that I don't much care about tennis these days but this was presents quite an image.

Welp, the rumors were true.

Seems as if Miami, despite the state of Florida having declared a state of emergency days ago, the tennis tournament was clearly waiting for their hand to be forced before doing the obvious.

The Miami Open sucks and has gotten even worse with James Blake in charge. Not much will be missed minus the Monte Carlo tourney which Thiem wasn't going to play. All that said I am having tennis withdrawal....
