:P Well thats the last time I help you Mr. Toups. I know Albert was the director because you complained about how bad the directing was that I paid attention to the director credit..and if I had to put my money on it ....it was Jodie S. who wrote today's script. Because I remember thinking how the ending sucked and then seeing her name...LOL

Where in the credits does it list the script writer usually?

I just rewatched the credits at the end of the ep and Albert Alarr was definitely listed as Director but I saw no Script Writer credit. It just went into Written By Hogan Sheffer and Meg Kelly and then all the writers being listed.

FANTASTIC EPISODE!!

August is off to a AMAZING start.

JS EARNED an emmy nod today. He showed major range and switched gears so effortlessly. Loved his fantasies and his scenes with Kate were great. LK played that scene well after she slapped him and EJ attacked her. Intense stuff.

The letter reading is getting old but at least we are at the full fledged romance phase now. That means the murder is coming, which is what we are all waiting for anyway. This is reminding me of the Star Wars prequels. Everyone wanted to get to the creation of Darth Vader and could care less about the path there. That is much like this story. People are just waiting for the big stuff to come and then the excitement will begin. Loved seeing D&J and good seeing John in the mix. Loved vet scenes like this.

The Dimera's rocked!! Tony attacking Bart, drugging Stefano, and getting the key. Good stuff. That scene with Tony and Stefano had so mudh amazing intensity. The Tony/Andre sword fight wasn't that bad. Sure, the doubles looked nothing like Thaoo but I'm sure not many will notice. As for Bart, Blackwood was great today. I felt so horrible for him. He simply was trying to end the fight I think or maybe even try to disarm Tony to protect Andre. It was sad and Thaoo, Joe, and Steve played the Bart death scenes well. Bart's last line was heartbreaking, along with Stefano's reaction.

Bring on Monday. August is AMAZING so far!!

Thanks for the explanation, Toups. I will be on the look out for that stuff now. Of course, I never noticed the special effects at the end of eps before coming to this site so now I've got even more to distract me from the story at the end of eps. LOL.

    • Oh god I haven’t gotten to that episode yet, you have to be [!@#$%^&*].ing kidding me. I will say to my surprise, the Danny actor no longer bothers me. He has actually improved quite a bit.
    • I hear what you are saying, but I feel there is definitely an opportunity for improvement. If the set problem is to remain, then the whole focus has to change. Business has to take a back seat if there are no sets available to support story. As I have said before return to Jabot and have a number of characters working and interacting there. They seem super reluctant to do it but Victor needs to be a more supporting character.  Eric Braeden seems determined to carry on and that is of course admirable, but keeping Victor as this dominating force has been detrimental. Have a sweet reunion of Sharon and Nick and marry them off for good. Bring on Faith and I'd even have Adamson back as Noah at this point to support Nick/Sharon in a parenting role. They really need to bite the bullet and drop one of the following -Billy, Chelsea, Phyllis or make them recurring like Abby/Ashley with appearances or short term stories when appropriate. Free up some space for new or returning characters- Noah, Allie, Fen, Moses, even a recast Dylan.
    • Today was really boring. I get we needed to have Martin accepting Eva but man I needed some Leslie today. Anita being hung up on was intriguing though.
    • Yup, that's John Mahoney, a few months before the star-studded 1986 production of The House of Blue Leaves. Also, God bless TPTB for thinking that a circus storyline was gonna grab the hearts and attention of viewers.
    • I don't think we have. I suspect @Paul Raven could confirm it for sure.  ETA: off the top of my head, I counted 13 sets (counting the hotel room Doug/Vanessa made up in separate from the hotel room Ted is in unless it was refashioned).
    • Have we seen them? There’s a bit more variety than some of the other soaps but I feel like GH still has them beat. Right now everyone literally only eats at the country club or Orphy Genes. Jessica and Samantha look like twins.
    • Dante to Kristina: You turned out okay.

    • Am I misremembering or were they bragging about over 20 sets? Have we seen them all cause I feel like we haven’t and I’d like to see some more.
