I was at gay.com and there was this report:

Talk about interesting casting news! It's being reported that a gay male couple will be moving to Wisteria Lane in the upcoming season of "Desperate Housewives."

"We're going to have the first male desperate housewives," openly gay show creator Marc Cherry told Afterelton.com. "They will move into the old Applewhite house, and one of the gay men will just have a fractious, hateful relationship with Teri Hatcher."

Cherry also noted in the interview that he'd only just begun writing the episodes, and the roles of the gay male couple had not been cast yet.

Which got us wondering ... who should play the gay couple? We thought about, and we came up with some pairings of openly gay celebs to play the couple. Take a look and vote!

Yeah, I was stunned too when I saw it air in the previews. It does look very hot! Winterguy has a different angle of it as his avatar. I have my DVD discs ready to tape the show this week and the following weeks. I hear things will be heating up!

I agree about losing some interest in the show, I really hope this season is going to be better than the last one was.

I really thought Season 3 took the show back in the right direction after a horrid second season. It kind of went stale following the completion of Orson's back story arc, which also is the time when Marcia Cross was off screen to her own pregnancy. The finale was great and was a great cliffhanger with Bree faking a pregnancy to conceal her daughters, and the Lynette cancer storyline angle.

I am excited for the 4th season. Sure, the show has lost its shock value but if you ask me it would be foolish to think of trying to recapture that. JUst write compelling stories that are dramatic but comedic in tone and they will be fine.

I don't get all the anti-DH/losing interest posts. It's one of the ONLY shows I love in primetime. I loved the second season AND the third season. I've yet to see anything I didn't like.

Tuc is hilarious! Can't wait to see him on DH. Hopefully this role will lead him to bigger things. That man is a genius when it comes to comedy.
