He had two days off last week and was not on this Tuesday's episode....surely he makes enough money annually to take a vacation to Europe every Summer. Two weeks would be ideal for me. No Rya$$ for two weeks :)

Last time I was in Europe (London and Paris in August/1999) it was for two weeks....didn't want to leave! But came back and watched two weeks worth of AMC. The major storyline at that time was Alexandra Devane's introduction and the mystery surrounding Dimitri's death

A vet day written by Karen Lewis - this could be good! I love seeing Ruth Martin and the little Ruth/JR moment was interesting.

I'm enjoying Amanda/Kendall having scenes together...this is good.

Alexa Havins looks absolutely GORGEOUS today in that lighting.

Whoa - it looked like Jonathan wanted to kill Del. How creepy was that look as it went into the opening....

AWWW. Joe's speech is so sweet. It came from the heart. The way they are writing today's epi is great. I love the dialougue! :)

Jenny is so cute! :)

Ill, Jonathan is creepy. Get a life. But Adian and Del look Hwat!

Too bad Palmer and Mrytal are not there. It would have been condisered a VET day. :(

That speech that Joe made about Tad was so sweet and I loved Opal and Ruth's comments about sharing their maternal responsibilities. The vet show today has been soooo good so far. This might be a keeper episode. Actually, this could have been the July 4th episode - do a christening, have lunch, and watch fireworks. Would have worked....

Ok, that Jonathan/Aiden fight came way out of left field. In fact, the entire Del/Aiden/Jonathan scenes seem awkward and out of place. Why would Jonathan just come up to them with that creepy ass look and start picking a fight with Aiden before Aiden even had a chance to give his opinion on the entire thing. Thank God Di just came to break this up. At least Aiden is shirtless...that's hot.

    •   I liked the effect of the curtains closing. Yeah it was like the end of Act I.   Or maybe they are simply trying to emphasize the drama of the end of an episode -- instead of a random abrupt end that has happened in some prior episodes.
    • I posted this in the behind the scenes thread but I know this thread is busier so wanted to mention it here as well. During their instagram live yesterday, Daphnee Duplaix and Trisha Mann-Grant mentioned that they will find out this month if the show is renewed for another season. Just a heads up so we can keep an eye out for an announcement and keep our fingers crossed for a multi-year renewal!
    • They haven't explained the ownership of the Bistro, but Doug told Holly the other day he didn't get the job there. Basically Roman just hired Doug on the spot and gave him a room.  It was really nice of Roman.  I don't know if he knows who Doug is or that he stole Julie's necklace.  That was unclear-at least to me.
    • I'm not sure how I felt about it, but I do kind of like that it felt like the show telling us this concludes the first chapter of the series. Could be interesting if they only do it for big aftermath episodes. The biggest mistake with Martin is that it's almost hard to buy his anger because we've gotten no strong scenes with him and his parents. They've all been with Anita/Vernon. I can't even remember him ever even saying one word to Nicole, even in passing.
    •   Thank you! Agreed on both posts. And the comments about Mike Manning are nonsense.
    • I haven't watched yet, but did they explain the current ownership of The Bistro?  Because when RonC was writing, wasn't he applying for work with Sophia?
    • I think Brandon has gotten better in normal day to day scenes, but he’s very over the top when the character is meant to be angry or agitated. I did laugh when she started yelling at Leslie and then when he started to throw all those damn books, lol. He needs an acting coach to work out some of these kinks.
    • I've never found him as bad as some. I think he's always shined in scenes with Vernon, who should be his father. I also think he has great chemistry with Kat and Dani which I hope they tap into more over time. Dani/Martin feel like such a fun and believable Auntie/Nephew relationship.
    • I'm fighting for my life on another board for my husband Brandon and I'll do it here too lmao
