On Friday's episode, Jade told Gwen that Will was in trouble. Luke caught Noah(his new crush) in bed and not with him. Loony Cleo bashed Will's head with Bashful.

What will happen today? Will Jean Pissanante be fired? Will Luke move Maddie out of the way and jump into bed with Noah? How will Noah feel when the truth comes out? Will Cleo get more insane today?

Discuss :)

OK. Two things annoyed me just now.

When Luke was telling Maddie that Jade didn't run Will off the road, that Cleo did, and then Maddie got that patronizing tone, with the whole "I know Jade is your cousin..." thing....Luke should have snapped on her just like that. Take his anger about finding her in bed with Noah and then the whole condescending way she said that...that warranted at least something like..."We have proof, dammit, Maddie! We have proof! So you can soften your erection for my cousin!"

And then when Jade was getting ready to leave Gwen after Gwen was being all bitchy with her. She should have kept on walking and let Gwen get her just desserts. She would deserve it.

Damn. DAMN!!!! WHY couldn't this be ANOTHER show?! In 1965, ATWT spun Lisa off into her own primetime show, "Our Private World." It ran throughout that summer, multiple times a week. WHY couldn't they do something like that with the teens?! I wouldn't feel so bad for enjoying it.

I'm just going to come right out and say it. This Branson stuff has me hooked and I am loving it all the way. The over-the-topness of it, the campiness of it. Good stuff. Looks like Cleo likes to hit people over the head with garden gnomes.

Loved the Luke and Noah stuff. It was only natural of Noah to think that Luke was pissed because he wants Maddie. I liked the build-up to Luke outing himself. That was some good stuff.

And Jennifer Landon just rocked it as Gwen, demanding that Cleo tell her where Will is.

[!@#$%^&*]. I didn't want them to suck me into this, but they have. They really have. Damn it.

Ummm.....Luke was embarrased at first and then he smiled(smirked) After he had a full view of Noah naked. He finally turned away...LOL.. Noah must have a big one!...hehe

Oh Gawd...Gabe sucks....he looks like one of the interns from the online talent show.

 Good show today. I am still bored to tears with Emily and Dusty. I thought we would see a bigger reaction from Noah. After he found out Luke is gay. Noah must still be in the closet. Or is still in denial that he is gay.

Christopher Goutman was finally listed as Director today with Susan Dansby as script writer.

LOL. They should have casted him as one of Ali's old colleagues.

But yeah, I agree with Soapsuds, good show today. Tomorrow's looks even better. Loved the preview of Emily, Ali, Aaron, and Dusty huddled around the TV, watching the Alison/Dusty sex tape. Looks like that'll be interesting. Too bad Susan isn't there to get a gander at that.

    • I just finished the Locher Room Texas reunion.  I really enjoyed it.  I love that the actors have such fond memories of the time they spent working on Texas and with each other.  It is really special and unique.  Kin was being Kin.  He was moving the camera around or he was constantly moving, at one point he is completely in the dark, then you can't hear him.  lol.  He is like a hyper child.
    • They were always meant to be short-term, I think - at least Mick and Lou.
    • No it's alphabetical between the two openings - the A-whatever is opening 1 and whatever-Z is opening 2. So in theory, if his last name started with an A, he'd be first in opening 1 and they would have had to remove Maurice (who was in opening 2), which requires edits to both. Unless I'm going crazy haha

    • All depends, really. Whichever opening had Johnson would have had to change; it's not like he was in both openings.
    • Well, it's alphabetical, so they got lucky with the actor's name fitting into place like that. Otherwise, if they stayed alphabetical, they could have had to change both.
    • To their credit, the new writers are clever to stick to current events from the time they were taping, versus trying to predict current events at the time the episode airs.  Case in point, Susan and questionable choice to hop on a cruise two days after her son was shot, and the case remains unsolved, so her remains at risk...

Although cruises around the world are not uncommon for Salem citizens like Julie, it seemed like the type of reference DOOL continues to like dropping into scripts for humor. Also, help me understand the Marlena and EJ interaction.  Didn't they come to a mutual détente earlier in the week?  I felt gaslighted, but I could've just as easily misunderstood Marlena's earlier talk to Belle, and then EJ. And is Bo in Boston (near Ceara) or Greece (where he was transferred after he was shot)?  I bet it is expensive to fly a coma patient transatlantically!
    • It was one of the bigger disappointments that Sarah wasn't part of the book.
    • They clearly loved her offcamera. I wish I could appreciate her work more, but...I don't. Thanks for telling me what Levin said at the end. I still don't think Carney was bad, but I guess he would always see them as not shining compared to Kate.
    • Around 2002, when I would have killed Alan, I'd bring back Amanda, who would have a love/hate relationship with Philip mirroring Alan and Alex, I'd have a proper Alex recast, I might bring back Alan-Michael (and maybe Hope or Mike on recurring), and I'd bring in a long-lost son for Philip who would be around his late teens or early twenties.  I agree that Philip would still need a rival. That's where giving Roger another long-lost kid (not Sebastian) could have worked in this timeframe.
    • @ranger1rg @DemetriKaneI was sure I was swimming upstream alone on this. I get that they are all proud to be Duprees, but the writers are just overplaying it. Ted's an ass, but presumably, he's been a model husband for the last 25 (?) years...but he just isn't good enough (or can handle or whatever..) a Dupree woman? *cough* I guess the next "shocker" is whatever Vernon and Anita's secret is. I hope it's something a little more original than him cheating on Anita.
