I like Carl. I wish he would stick around and hook up with Bridget even if it were only shot term. I like the vibe those two have together.

I dread the day Brooke finds out Taylor is having her baby. The way she keeps talking about what it would be like to have Nick's baby is just gagging me. These writers need a clue. So far she's had 4 children with three different men, it doesn't seem to have bonded her to them for life. Why is this baby going to be any different?

I liked that look Felicia gave Ashley today when she caught Ash and Rick in a compromising position. Are the claws gonna come out? I also liked Fefe's comments about Dante the other day at the party when Ash was complementing little Dino, something about him not being a good father and, facetiously, saying she's not bitter about it. LOL! I don't know if I want Felicia and Ashley to be good pals that talk trash about the men in their lives or for them to get catty with each other. Either way, I want to see more scenes of them together. Eileen Davidson has chemistry with everyone in the cast.

WTF was Phoebe wearing? LOL! I don't think Amber ever looked that trashy and it doesn't even fit her. She looked like a little girl playing with costumes and makeup. But what was up with Rick's reaction? I mean, doesn't he remember his ex? She wasn't exactly classy herself.

I was surprised that Carl was so upfront with Bridget so quick. I thought he was just saying whatever she wanted to hear to get a little lovin'. Ha. Which is good, cause I worried that the show was going to turn him into a creep.

This egg stuff is killing me.

I KNOW i'm not the only one who can not stand this show right now, Carl is the stupidest charecter i've ever seen introduced to ANY daytime soap opera, Constantine is vomit inducing. If I see Carl or Constantine on, I REFUSE to watch the program, that is a first for me for B&B, that saddens me.

As for the rest, Brooke....Nick....Ridge, same for the last 3+ years, snoozefest 2007

I thought they would really change Phoebe's look, but besides more make-up and slutty clothes she looked the same. I guess I was expecting them to chop off her hair or dye it black something really different that couldn't be changed back right away. Rick's attitude made sense in terms of Phoebe having an established image they FO is trying to market, but other than that I wasn't buying it. He's in the fashion business, someone having a style transformation should be no big to him.

The Thursday episode was great. Especially the 2nd half. The Brooke-Stephanie fight was not only good but it had some new & different ways of looking at things.

There was more diversity of characters and not just the same 3 characters saying & doing the same things they've done every day for the past some years. Felicia is finally showing up again and actually saying things. Ashley seems to have kicked into gear. She mentioned Genoa City several times, mentioned Abby, and most shockingly of all Felicia actually mentioned Caroline.

Most important no Phoebe.

This week has been good. I'm still stuck at Wednesday but except for the dreadful prospect of Bridge I liked it a lot.

We were also graced with some very grand performances. Like CRC I was also cheering at Fefe/Ashley, loved Stephanie's snarky looks and also thought Mackenzie Mauzy was wonderful being torn between music and Rick's paranoia.

The egg-stuff is really surprising me in the way that they manage to come up with so much twists to delay it and keep the excitement although the story is moving along fastly...

Will post more over the weekend as I catch up. Reading of Ridge/Ashley makes me giddy with excitement, I REALLY like them. Gasp!

LOL. Yup! B&B had a great week.

I think I a starting to like Ridge/Ashley. Even though I still prefer him with Brooke!

Stephine and Brooke never get old. I love it when they talk mean to each other. "NO, IF HE WANTS TO SEE R.J. HE HAS TO COME TONIGHT" :D

    • I watched another batch of episodes and I have a sense of dread. I fear they are setting up a murder storyline with one of my favorite characters as the victim. I don't know if that would be considered a spoiler so won't reveal the character. If that's so, i will be extremely disappointed as this person has done Emmy caliber work and would create such a void on the show.  If I'm right, I think I know who the suspect will be and I would rather the suspect be murdered.  Joel Crothers's Miles has had more of a presence with his wife Nicole and I enjoy both actors. Crothers is just so yummy and charismatic. Don't know who plays Nicole but I like their relationship.  Ann Williams has been phenomenal as Margo. Margo is desperate to keep Eliot and make April happy. Williams had a nice scene with Kibbee's Geraldine about Logan and the baby. Eliot has been so slimy and menacing but he's so watchable. April and Draper are still fighting over the baby and something has happened to April to land her in the hospital. I just keep hoping she'll kick Draper out. The man is such a pain. Raven needs to come back and sleep with him. She can liven him up. Ann Flood and Frances Fisher had a wonderfully written scene where Deborah confesses her feelings for Owen. The writing and acting for this scene was first-rate. I want more of Flood. It's good to see Fisher getting more to do. Steve and his low cut shirts have been sidelined lately. The writers are setting up a Deborah/Nola confrontation.  Paige and Brian are still pretty much an afterthought. The movie plot is coming along nicely and there was a great episode where Margo had a party for the movie at her penthouse. Still enjoying the show.
    • See, I imagine it as some kind of "private" room within a bigger casino.
    • I like Nicole for several reasons, she has all the good attributes and qualities of a good person. You have to be a huge hater to dislike someone like her. I consider Dani an underdog. She had a lot to live up to and she hasn't contributed to the family name imo. Naomi and Martin seem to had more flourishing careers than she has.  She might've had a long marriage, but Bill cheated on her left and right. I am sure they had some good times, but I wouldn't call it a great marriage or anything to brag about. She modeled for what 2/3 years? That's not that successful, especially if she didn't pivot to something more lucrative. And that is the real reason she plays momanger cause she is living through Chelsea. Dani is nothing without her family name. Nicole doesn't need the Dupree; she made her own mark! And that's what you should do when you're born with privilege, flip that [!@#$%^&*]! The opportunity is there for the writers to play up her insecurities and resentment issues, but will they? There must've been a reason for her to choose Bill over someone with more status, or coming from another wealthy family. Right?  I don't expect everyone to understand her, but I do, and probably would've made her a more screw up and didn't amount to much outside having some kids.  The lack of crossover from the in-laws always bothered me, too. I hope at some point we get some family dinners. I know it's not earth-shattering entertainment, but I'm a sucker for those scenes. And you can still move the story along, too! I forgot all about my boo Jacob, and he was on today. He, for some reason, reminds me of Garfield the cat!

You're right about that hetero bio son Dupree, though.
    • The casino set needs to be upgraded or needs to go. Why would anyone rich spend their time in the wood paneled 1960’s room instead of just playing cards in what I assume is the normal nice looking casino area.
    • It wasn't his first appearance, though; per the end credits, he is a principal guest star (a.k.a. recurring).
    • Vanessa was flirty with Smitty, and it was weird. Smitty didn't think anything about it was cute or fun. The sex talk between Cody and Vanessa at Orphey Gene's? Also weird af. We needed either a longer scene or another scene to make any of that work. Vanessa is coming off like a nymphomaniac. Forced for plot convenience, just as it was when we saw Eva (HUH???) in that casino backroom. Sorry, none of this casino stuff works. I thought the same thing -- I enjoyed all the different character groupings, but the dialogue was not natural and didn't flow. Yep, kinda weird. I don't get it. Of course, I also don't get the discussion of not having Doug as the surgeon. Is he the only doctor anyone trusts? Then we have June's entire heart procedure talked about, performed, and over within 20 minutes of screen time. -- Cady McClain gives us a different variation of that accent every time she appears. The dialogue between Pamela and Dani is too cute by half. -- BTG, please stop mentioning Martin's run for the presidency. -- I hope we're not going to see Ted soften towards Dana and be taken in by her line of bull. She just blew up his life, and I don't want to see him sympathize with her in any way.
    • Agree.  But I would describe him as being disappointed not bitter.
    • >>><<< Great minds!  Kat certainly does prove that point. She's been given a lot to work with, so we shouldn't be bored of her anytime soon. I am interested in all her storylines at the moment, and curious how the show will use the affair to impact her romances and business stories. Well, what movie was it? Cause… I noticed it too. The first couple of seconds of the song were slightly different. OMG! Great call, precisely the same situation.
    • I think Kin was dissatisfied at GH in as much as Scotty had been pushed aside for Luke/Laura and the writing was doing him no favors as Scotty was now seen as an obstacle to their romance. So with his contract up he was offered big $$$ to move to Texas, which you can't blame him for. In addition to the money, I recall he was promised that Jeb would be a more dynamic character than Scotty. The money came through but not the story, so  don't blame him for being  slightly bitter.
