PSNS: Grace's Killer Revealed!

Why does that need an explanation? It was a good mystery. Until the He-She started being responsible for EVERYTHING bad in town, now including things he wasn't even on the show for, and it was fun speculating if Vince was Val or if they are bro or sis. And if I had known about that stupid frog, it would have made the speculating less fun. Now that I know, it's not speculating; that was pretty much TELLING us how the story would play out. JER's a moron. He truly is.

I think this is lame in the sense that the stalker is responsible for everything, much like Alistair. I had a feeling either Al or the stalker was responsible. I remember thinking AL was the stalker at first so obviously that is why I thought he killed Grace.

King is right in that the reveal of the stalker won't be a surprise. Nothing on Passions ever is. The show has improved but it's still predictable. I keep hoping the stalker reveal and what is coming will it be a shock but I won't hold my breath. I also think Grace is still alive so all this will be moot anyway.

Also, let's keep things cool in here. King...there is no need to call anyone a moron and Rion....you need to start being more acceptive of others' opinions. If not, then action will be taken.

Why is it so bad that the stalker could be Vincent? So, yeah, it's obvious. But that's part of the reason I love it. It lets us, the audience, discover who the stalker is. WE get to play detective so to speak.

Plus, I remember when it came out that Vincent was Chad's lover, everyone (minus a few people) was complaining and talking about how awful JER was to do that....but now the majority of us love the story. I think we should take this with an open mind.

ITA! The fact that we, as viewers, put the pieces of the puzzle together is awesome, and indicative of a nice interaction between the show and the fans.

I hate when people complain about being able to solve the msyery. The same people would then complain if the mystery was too much out of left field. There's no pleasing them. This doesn't just go for Passions--it's true of many mystery storylines I've encountered in various forms over the past 4 years or so.

So now it's the stalker doing everything, except the dead Johns? Whatever.

Also, there's a major difference between the audience piecing clues together and playing along with the show and the show throwing up some cop-out nonsense. There can be a tricky, well-thought-out mystery that still makes sense. I've yet to see one on a soap, but I'm sure it's within the realm of possibility.

It also comes down to timing- at the point when the audience has it together, the show either has to twist it up or do a nice reveal to the audience to keep forward momentum. Otherwise it becomes a waiting game, the answer becomes more obvious and the whole thing seems increasingly lame, imho.

Could Gwen be the he/she? I'm wondering if she's possessed or gone mad over Ethan since the person is obsessed with him. Last time I tuned in, she was laying on a couch in pain screaming get off me. What's that about? Could it be that she was "morphing" into the creature?

    • Yes, but the stories are all pretty awful Seeing Victor rehashing his hatred of the Abbotts  when he married one of them and has a daughter that is half Abbott as well as walking around with Traci's daughter's heart keeping him alive makes him look worse than he already is. And I remember he and Jack chatting amicably in the past few years. Victor interfering in Kyle/Claire is just repeat of Billy/Victoria. Sharon, Nick,Phyllis etc are around but again the stories are lacking.
    • I think Kevin's 1996 Emmy was fair enough. He barely appeared for his second. I don't think anyone else on the list is that deserving but I might have gone with Moore as he did try with the whole Keesha AIDS story. @alwaysAMC Thanks to slick jones' cast list I was able to see that Nikki Rene played Tina. Not much on her, as you mentioned. Tap and a few Broadway listings (it doesn't help that a younger actress with a similar name is in a lot of roles). • Thank you. That does ring a bell. I remember Theresa and Julian's drunk, giggly fake wedding (with Julian asking "Whassup?" to the minister). Was Bruce tricking the pair as a prank, or did somebody put him up to it? I especially liked Katherine recalling how dashing young Alistair was when he'd pick up Rachel for dates, and how she wished she could be her sister, then feeling guilty once Rachel had her boating accident ...
    • And Kevin Mambo beat Shemar Moore for those two Emmys. I chalk up the wins to the voters not wanting Jonathan Jackson to eventually end up with a five peat (he won 1995, 1998, 1999). These were the 1996 and 1997 Younger Actor races. 1996: Nathan Fillion, Jonathan Jackson, Kevin Mambo (winner), Shemar Moore, Joshua Morrow 1997: Steve Burton, Jonathan Jackson, Kevin Mambo (winner), Shemar Moore, Joshua Morrow

    • Today's episode was excellent. Clearly it was confrontation day and they didn't disappoint. I'm glad they didn't forget Mona in all of this and gave us an opportunity to see how she's dealing with this. A major highlight for me were the Kat and Martin scenes. Their chemistry is off the charts and I don't understand why we haven't gotten more of this. I love how they take turns calming each other down. They feel really well matched and believable as siblings. Speaking of siblings, they anvils were dropping strong that Kat and Eva are twins but I do wish someone would mention that they are essentially hood twins which might throw people off the scent.  I'm one of the people who enjoyed Joey and the gambling storyline so it was nice to see him again. It was nice to see different characters like Mona and Eva in that element instead of the usual players. When Doug arrived I don't know what hit me but I just see a funeral in his future. He seems so hopeless and has the worst luck. I just can't see him surviving the year at this rate.
    • In fiction there has become an expectation by some that every Black character should represent excellence and perfection. It's not like we are talking about a Tyler Perry show where none of the characters are happy and everyone hates each other with a passion.
    • And on rewatch, I could've done without the unsubtle praising Matt like he was the only one who ever accepted Van as she was...but TPTB and their agendas.  It was totally in character for Vanessa to shut down emotionally until she was alone. While she could be volatile, both she and Henry believed in keeping emotions private.  Thank God it's still Bryan Buffinton in the role for both Henry's and HB's funerals. It just wouldn't have been the same with Ryan Brown, who couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag. Roll My Eyes.
