PSNS: Chad/Vincent promo

Well, I mean...it is Divins. It's actually funny that PSNS found (and I don't know how they did it) an even worse actor to play opposite Divins! Vincent's portrayer is HILARIOUSLY bad!

I disagree with Vincent's acting being bad. I think he's quite good, actually, at playing a psychotic, bitchy, blackmailing queen! And if he's the blackmailer, he's doing an even better job at playing a psycho because the emotions are there. Remember when Theresa kept baiting the blackmailer (Vincent?) about being a freak, and he/she became psychotically emotional? If the blackmailer is Vincent then he did great with those scenes.

It's impossible for me to agree more. Vincent's actor is doing a MARVELOUS job.

I, too, at one point, was confused, and thought he "sucked." But he doesn't! It's just an over-the-top character. He's great.

Also, on another note, when is the last time NBC put a Passions promo like this on the site? This seems like the first hyped week in a long time. It's good to see, especially with them leaving NBC.

The promos have been posted on NBC's site since the site was revamped 3 weeks ago. It's a weekly thing since the Daytime Update stopped.

You actually get to see the full-length promo as opposed to " if you blink" you'll miss it promo during Days. I actually prefer the individual promos to the NBC Updates.

Well, you're both wrong because Vincent's actor sucks! And the fact that people think that is good acting is a ) why daytime is in so much trouble right now and b ) why Passions has such low ratings and c ) why Passions was cancelled.

I'll disagree with everything in that post but save the REAL argument for that last point. As Rion has said numerous times, and as is the truth, "Passions" is not "cancelled;" it is RENEWED. Only DEAD shows that will never open production again, are TRULY cancelled.

But it WAS cancelled by NBC. So...it IS cancelled.

Only it's NOT...because new episodes are being produced. Only diff is the network has changed.

For a show to be truly cancelled, it has to be GONE gone, like Another World or Sunset Beach. ;)

That doesn't erase the fact that NBC CANCELLED IT! DUHHHH.

And NBC WORKED to get it renewed!!!

Sorry, but it is NOT canceled. It is RENEWED.

ITA! The fact that we can watch NEW episodes of Passions come September 17 means that the show is NOT cancelled!
