Actually, watching it again, I would have loved to see John and Marlena in there. But I guess since he isn't awake (when is that? A couple weeks?), they'll do a seperate promo for that.

I was shocked they didn't do a Shelle/Steve promo with those stories climaxinf but big KUDOS to Days on this. I know the footage of Stefano and Tony was told but putting them in there is nice promotion and they need to promote the heck out of this, especially Joe's return. I got chills and what a great promo. LUMI In New Orleans. I am glad they promoted the Dimera discovery there. This is going to be great!!

The only thing that would've made it even better is sticking Marlena and John's faces in there but we can't have everyone in it. There will be more promos and as long as they promote Joe's return I am cool.

With a picture of Stefano: "In 5 days, the Phoenix rises from the ashes. Stefano returns. Days Of Our Lives." And count down from 5 to 4, etc.

I had actually thought of a "shadow" promo. We see Stefano's shadow/silhouette, but we can't see him. The promo counts down...

"In (X) days, evil comes home..."

Then on the day right before his return, we see him walk out of the shadow, revealing his identity. With that, of course, would come the trademark Stefano DiMera laugh.

Replying to my own promo idea...

I've also come up with this idea:

"In (X) days, evil comes home..."

We see a leather chair, with its back turned towards us. Someone's sitting in it, but we can't see who. Then, on the day right before his return, the chair turns around to reveal Stefano, laughing heartily. EEEE! I'd love that.

The J&M fans on other boards are steaming because they aren't included in the promo (whereas Bope are). It's probably just an oversight but still not very smart. DAYS needs to get everyone on board for this. Hopefully, they are included next week's promo.
