OK I've been on numerous message boards and websites and it seems that the latest RUMOR going on right now is that REBECCA HERST is to be written out of GENERAL HOSPITAL

NOW FOR THE TRUE FACTS:In the soap opera world it dose not matter if you have renewed your contract with GENERAL HOSPITAL or not.They review each character every thirteen weeks and decide on if the character hold of an importance to the soap opera or not and if they feel they will get rid of them.It seems that there will bee a shooting involving JASON,LUCKY,LIZ an SAM.And the shooting happens when Lucky finds out about the baby true paternity and goes after Jason and Liz shoots Lucky.This will complicate things.Jason then tells Sam to help to hide Liz from the truth.This shooting is suppose to take place in May of 2007.If I get anymore information on this I'll sure to pass it along to you.

now i may have byist (sp?) openion because i love both RH and Liz, but i soo see Liz Webber & Rebecca H with GH for a long time. she has been ont he show for so long and has such history. its obvious the writers and eecs at abd love her as do a lot of fans, even when inc rap storyline and written out of char.

elizabeth's fanbase is split, but TPTB love her.

I don't believe the rumor about Rebecca Herst being writen out either thats why I put as a RUMOR. I don't know about any of you but I love Rebecca Herst and I love the character of Liz and I would hate to have her go.But the shhoting is suppose to happen.

Steve and Rebecca are listed among the cast members contracted to be on the Primetime Soapnet GH spinoff "The Night Shift"

The drama begins shooting its 13 episodes on April 20 and debuts in July.

It's possible that IF the spinoff is sucessful some of the GH cast might relocate pemanently to the primetime show but IMO, it's way to early to speculate who would make the transition as the show hasn't aired and it might not last beyond initial the 13 episodes.

This "rumor" originated from the dish (which I am a member of). This alleged shooting is supposed to happen like the third week of May, which at this time cannot be proven.

The rumor wasn't made up by JaSam fans, as the point of this spoiler is to show exactly how much Jason cares for Elizabeth by protecting her.

I believe this has already been debunked on the original board where it came from. It was posted by someone from another board and IIRC they have already said that they MADE IT UP.

I don't believe GH would fire Rebecca Herbst and kill off Elizabeth. GH has been pimping Elizabeth with Jason lately, possibly preparing for a possible leaving of Kelly Monaco. Jason & Elizabeth make me sick but I still don't want Rebecca Herbst fired or Elizabeth killed off. If Elizabeth shoots Lucky it would be absolutely dumb, stupid and unforgivable. GH needs to stop ruining one of the best and most popular couples of GH's history since Luke & Laura. GH needs a new head writer pronto.

i could see them actually having Lucky vs Jason and Liz cought in the middle and a struggle with a gun and somehow Liz ends up shooting lukcy or jason. much like Jason vs Zander and Liz got shot.

Rebecca Herbst recently signed a new four year contract with GH a few weeks ago so this is just a bunch of ballacks
